I know many people have some questions here that want a quick answer and don't feel like making a topic. If anyone have any questions to the people who are currenlty playing Chinese version please ask. I'm sure things will be close to similar to the release of the NA/EU version so I'm sure we can give you some great in-sight about this great game. I would like our viewers/lurkers/readers to get some answers here. -In memory of Laura "Taera" Genender. Passed away on Aug/13/08- |

Ah cool Got a few questions: 1- Does the gear one wears break or suffer damage? do you have to repair it? 2-Do you have to train your skills with a new weapon you got? Do you have to learn to use a weapon?
Thx. |

1. No, it doesnt break unless you want to break it in order to obtain enchants. 2. No, you don't have to train your weapon skills, you just buy the passive skillbooks and your attack improves when using that weapon. |

Holding a direction (up,down, left, right) changes a characters stats temporarily i hear. What effect does holding (up and left) for instance have on the stats? do they stack? or is there no effect? |

Short answer: yes they stack Long answer: I've seen them not stack sometimes, and I'm not entirely sure why. |

Are the highest levels of PVP rank the "hero" levels permanent or can other people achieve them with time and practice?
There was a big stink about only 1 person being able to reach that rank per class and that rank made the character unimaginably powerful which pretty much negated a reason to fight that person as you had no chance whatsoever. I'm curious if that is still an issue or if it was all blown out of proportion and it was never an issue.
Any details? |

Questions: 1) How difficult is flight combat to master? Is it easy to adjust to or combersome and awkward? 2) Compared to other MMORPG, how is Aion's performance? Do you need a high-end machine to run it with a decent framerate and relatively high detail graphics? MMO games would be pretty cool if it weren't for the people. |

dsebutchr: I'm not really sure on this question, but I'm sure someone will get to you on that one.
Sixpax: 1) Flight it self has a learning curve of 5 minutes and it's easy. Combat in the air takes some time when you are moving around and geting behind the enemy. Say if your an asassin and you need to move though or around them to stab them in the back. It's pretty much the same as being on ground, only that you have a flight meter to watch for. Also in pvp people can be roaches or I should say flying roaches. You have to be ready to put your wings out and chase them. 2) I was honestly suprised with Aion with its flexability. At max the graphics are beautiful and even on default it's beautiful. I switch mine around every so often. I would check specs, but in all honesty you don't need a high end PC in my opinion to enjoy this game (if your more about graphics than gameplay). -In memory of Laura "Taera" Genender. Well, I haven't played the game, but I have read about it. The "Hero" PvP rank is something you have to constantly work for. So yes, someone can surpass you and become the new Hero. If you want to stay a hero, you need to keep at it. And you are only granted the god-powers when in the Abyss. And the reason to fight a Hero is the same as why you fight a raid boss, or so I've heard. Wouldn't be fair to make a player as strong as a raid boss, and not give anyone incentives for killing him.
If I'm wrong though, please correct me. |

From what i have read is that you need to have so many kills and abyss points to achieve those high ranks and those in those highr hero ranks can lose their spots if killed or surpased in pvp kills. |

Even with the reflections and shadows still on. I was able to maintain a good frame of about 25 to 33 fps. The time I experienced dips in the performance was in the main cities. Because of all the people doing shops, it would dip as low 5 fps till everything was loaded. Then for most part it sat at around 15/20fps till I got away from the crowd. Most of the people with shops seem to set up right by where you teleport in at which is rather annoying, when you consider the auction house works great. What you said is what I've heard as well. Its like fighting a Player Raid Boss, only possible to use in the Abyss. Hard to keep ahold of the ability though since the Abyss is a huge area and a lot of people can be PVPing and competeing. Its just one more PVP reward, Its like a gladiator drake but you actually have a reason to use it FOR PVP, and you can't keep it forever. There are a lot of unanswered questions in this specific area... I'd also like to know more about it. |

My questions: 1) what is the maximum players who can make a party? 2) the kill number are showed over the head? 3) what you obtain by acquitring a pvp rank? |

I would say so, its also viable to oh say your fighting a mage in the air and want to get out of his casting range. Turn off your wings and fall! Then open them up and glide a bit and you are out of their casting range, get behind a rock or something and you can out distance them, it adds a whole new level of strategy to it. |
