Remember kids, comedy is difficult and shouldn't be used by everyone.

You know what really strikes me as comedy. As we are talking about conspiracies here now anyway.

Some days ago some dude called Shillz showed up on the forums after months of absence and started on a bashing rampage on the Age of Conan forums. That's all he did. Out of the blue.

That stopped all the sudden (probably because he got banned) at 4/17/09 5:50 PM.

Then at 4/17/09 7:20 PM some other dude called GiveMePvP shows up (also after long absence) starting on his bashing rampage against Age of Conan. That is all he does. Out of the blue.

I find that intrigueing. Nothing further to say.

Nice little conspiracy theory you have there. Lol you even wrote down specific times. Now that's dedication!

You know posts like that are against the RoC and could get you banned? But don't worry, I'm not going to report you. You amuse me too much.

Keep me informed how your investigation is going, ok?

Has nothing to do with dedication. Only took me a couple minutes to figure that out.

I just find it sad, that these two persons have something in common:

The only contribution they bring to these forums is bashing and trolling the same game. A game you don't like.

Most people on these forums at least take part in "real" discussions about a variarity of games and so contribute to this site.

Just an observation.

Cheers

His investigation is about as solid as yours are when it comes to funcom employee's coming here on new accounts frequently posting how good the game is. :P

Both are made on assumptions rather then solid proof. ;)

It took you only a couple of minutes to figure that out? Wow, your conspiracy finding skills are amazing! You should have been investigating Watergate.

I guess when you really WANT to find conspiracies, it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes

Keep me informed how your investigation is going, ok?

Do you love it, or do you find it painful...or do you love the pain?  Does your arrogance and all the e-peen flexing make you confused? Well, I sure am.

Yeah you got me there. I knew that it didn't make much sense when I wrote it but I was loo lazy to change it.

It's more actually pain than love. I feel shame for these people and every time I read something like that I die a little inside. It's like all those idiots who go around saying "I'm Rick James, bitch!" thinking they are funny or as cool as Dave Chappelle. In life and in comedy there are leaders and then there are dumbass followers.

This lead me to thinking. Is Age of Conan hugely popular in Norway? Is this the reason why we have so many posters from Oslo? Or is there some other reason?

I don't think 25% of the posters on this forum at MMORPG.com is from Norway. -.-

Hey now... Just because his numbers dont match yours, does not mean he is wrong, and it does not mean that he did not pay attention in math. You see, mathematics are very different in Norway, so certain aspects will look odd to YOU, but not odd to THEM. Dont be so narrow minded.

For example: If you have 10 ÷ 2, you get 8 in Norway. What, you think the answer is 5? No. I am not sure where YOU went to school... :P

1. No. AoC is not hugely popular in Norway. There was/is some, but not alot (left) in the sense of "Funcom patriotism." Not in my reality anyway. I met some that were almost religious about it, but they were total freaks.

2. Uhm, if I am to speculate.. I know norwegians are among the top "time spent on the internet" people in the world. Cold climate, high material standard, likes to stay at home etc. Also I think maybe we are a little partial to MMO's, not sure.

Cool Climate, with little to do. Lack of dialup connections due to no free local calling, therefore padding the numbers for broadband users, plenty of paid time off, plenty of free time due to strict overtime hours (or 1 month off for each 2 weeks you work if you work offshore), well paid no matter what you do (15 bucks an hour at McDonalds) and PLENTY of reasons to not even show up to work. (Doctor's notes handed out like candy, "Fyllesyk" mondays, "It is too sunny to work" summer days, "Snart Helg" fridays....) Yep, plenty of internet time for Norwegians. :P

I don't know what kind math you guys use in Oslo but where I come from it goes like this:

Total of 5 people. 3 of them are from Norway.
5 ÷ 3 = 0,6 = 60%

Math is hard. Maybe you should try something easier?

Well... By MY math:

Total of 5 people. 3 of them are from Norway.
5 ÷ 3 = 2 = 200%

That is an overwhelming amount of Norwegians...

Ya I'm not sure where that comes in...

"Just look at posters on this page. There is you, me and 3 Norwegians on THIS PAGE ONLY. That's 60%."

and then they are told their math doesn't hold up... in the context of the jest that was made...

You + Me = 2

2 + 3 Norwegians = 5

thus each participant is 20% aka 3 = 60% on "THIS PAGE ONLY" are Norwegians...

I'm not sure where the math problem comes into play... seems legit in the context it was given... oh wait I forgot they teach that 110% math in the US now I guess.

*edit* ya hey I got beat out by a few posts in the 2 hours it took me to figure this out (ok it wasn't 2 hours but it sounds funny).

I also was probably off in my US comment (that's where I'm from) becuase looking at the paticular comment that caught my eye.. I think they are teaching 110% outside the US as well...

This lead me to thinking. Is Age of Conan hugely popular in Norway? Is this the reason why we have so many posters from Oslo? Or is there some other reason?

I don't think 25% of the posters on this forum at MMORPG.com is from Norway. -.-

Oh yeah?

Just look at posters on this page. There is you, me and 3 Norwegians on THIS PAGE ONLY. That's 60%.

dude, your so full of crap. this whole thread is laughable, theres always people who dig in facts they can use for their own good, it aint hard to manipulate them (with your bs 25% are norwegian), just like you do in every single thread you post

lets all look at the joindate and posthistory of this  "person" and start digging in the facts!

Christ, just lighten up. I am 90% sure that the guy was just screwing around anyway. Besides, the whole premise of this thread is laughable. No offense to the OP, but come on...

just imagine this convo of him and a friend (if he has any) "hey dude, so what do you do with your free time?"  "well uhh i post a lot on some forum about how much Age of Conan sucks, you see i bought that game several months ago, didnt like it, so everyone has to know it"  "dude..."

thnx for the report, lmao :D
