What is your guess on WAR sub numbers for Q1 to be reported on May 12. Reminder: The last guidance (Q4) was 300.000 in their Q3 earnings report. This was just after Christmas sales. Do you think numbers have improved or have gotten worse ? please vote I know, it is still three weeks till then, but I think starting the poll now gives more people the chance to participate.

Mythic said not too long ago they had 300K members but that number was increasing. Some believe it was due to aggresive marketing and the 10 Day trial. Personally, I believe its between 300 and 400K. |

I'll say it stay the same, between 200k to 300k.

I'am in the 2-300k bracket as well they may well go over the 300k if they include the Russian sub but the EU and state servers are almost certainly below the 300k mark now. |

My guestimate is between 200-300k.
(that's not the same btw to the guy up here, they had 300k+ back in december)

Their numbers did increase by a lot with the new careers being introduced plus other stuff, but as far as I can tell they've gone down again. My guess goes to 200-300k. |

I fully believe that the wording will be manipulated in some way, so that outsiders won’t be able to get a clear outlook. “Active player base” or “Active Registered Players”. Both of which could or could not include trials. But personally, in my last couple of sub’d weeks (ends tomorrow) I’d say the numbers are still down from last quarter. Over 250, but not over 300. |

I would have to say at most 200k (maybe) and that is giving them the benefit of the doubt. |

Personally i could care less if they had 20 subs or 10 million the game is horrible in my opinion. Nothing could get me back playing this game. |

Im going to guess 220k. The 6 month subs will be running out now, but it may be offset by the Russia release and the business whipped up with the free trials. |

I have a feeling they won't be precise in their statement, or try to include trial accounts into it. Real subscribers, I'd say 150k - 250k, just to guess. Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic |

LOTRO has around 150K subs, so I'm guessing Warhammer will have 190K |

I would hope they would increase. WAR is not a game I will probably ever play again. However, as I state now and then.. failed games do not help the cause of a "game player". It would only make investors insist on more narrow focus of "what sells" and that imho has been one of the major problems in the market as it is. So even tho I didn't like the game I really do hope... they turn it around in a more positive manner.. somehow.. |

I disagree. Investors are already only investing in what they think "sells". WAR is a very clear example of such a game. I see WAR failing as showing investors that what worked for WoW doesn't really work else where, and they may be more inclined to try something different, instead of more of the same. Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic |

OP, really who cares? If you enjoy playing the game find a busy server and have Fun. Otherwise you are wasting your time. Even if an "insert MMO name here" had 10k players and the publisher would find it profitable to continue keeping it alive and add content regularly I wouldn't mind playing it if it's fun. |

I'l say it stays roughly the same with between 300k to 400k as reported in the last quarter. They may try to fudge the figures with the 10 day trial, I hope not but any business likes to put a positive spin on things no matter who they are. The figures however may improve as they release in more countries, following the same tactic as Blizzard who now has a more dominant Asian player base than Western.
