Well I took a look at AION Recently in my Video for the Top 6 Best Upcoming MMORPGS. She made the list but unfortunately I poked a bit of fun at her....
Link here: Top 6 Best Upcoming MMORPGS If you cant see It then basically I get into JRPG's, The Dancing, The Farcry Engine, and some other things in a parody video...Weak points but fun to watch. Part 2 will have AION going up against WOW - I dress up the friends I dupped into being in the video with some costumes and let them fight it out, lol. it wont beat WoW b/c its over priced to play for many ppl. How do u like whatver current game u are playing charge u for 200hr=$15

Have been playing this on the Chinese beta, and it I really enjoyed it. From what I have seen of the game so far its beautiful, with great animations, and the classes I have tried seem great. I am waiting for this game to hit NA/Europe, and am very excited :)
This poll is purely personal opinion, but for me Aion should be Number 1! |

Well congrats on realizing 15.00$ a month is no big deal for entertainment, it took me several years to come around as well. ;) "Let see if you guys think that we are right..." First off a few criticisms; Aion is NOT based on any christian mythology, it's got wings and uses terminology familiar to Jewish and Catholic tradtions maybe but that's really as close as it gets. Using Crysis to talk about Aion's engine or give an example I've found is a bad idea, because then people automatically assumes Aion will kill their performance. Not true. So wait you've got a game that may never see the light of day before a game already succesful in Asia? Other then being biased against anime and liking the Stargate TV show, I can't come up with a decent excuse for that. Champions, this looks decent on paper we'll have to see how it actually works out. The Nemesis thing sounds cool, make your own boss fight, and user created content is always awesome. I remain skeptical that all these things will be great usually there's some sort of use caveat whenever user generated content is concerned. Star Trek Online. LOL. That's all I have I don't expect anything out these guys. Might be cool for a certain sci fi fan base, it shall be niche if it doesn't shut down. DC Online, might actually be better then Champions I trust Sony more when it comes to writing and story line. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. That's the big one, Bioware is a proven developer, already has Knights of the Old Republic games they just need to bring it online. The IP is only going to help. So here's my list: 1. I was looking all over for some sort of ugly pic to show Angry Joe and here's what I found: Lots of people judge what the characters look like based on the small amount of videos they see, but the character creation is in fact insane! Yah it might be terrible but it might be less terrible then Champions. The again maybe not, however if you're a super hero fan you'll probably get to play both as Champions is supposed to be coming out this summer and DC still has ways to go. (,,,)=^__^=(,,,)Game Latte Vidcast |

I played Aion for the Chinese OB and I have to say I was quite addicted and loved it. It is defintely in my top 2 with Star Wars being at #1 hoping it turns out nothing like SWG. As for SOE, I have no faith in them at all. No good games since the original EQ, everything they put out is garbage and has terrible launches. You would think they have learned by now.. |

Aion will be fun at the start for some people. Once players start seeing Asian gold farming rings infesting the game much like Lineage 2, it will be a big turn off. NC Soft does not seem to care about the gold farming ring infestation as they have not shown any care in the past. The Asian gold farming rings will chase players away from questing areas, they will bott, you will be called racist names and the power lvling gold sales spam will be in most chat channels. Although I am not a big fan of WoW, I think that it will be on top of the charts for a very long time to come. I doubt that an NC Soft Asian mmo will even put a dent into WoW's player base.
As for the other mmo's in mention, the PvP will be a second thought. Champions online will have arena PvP only. Star Wars the old republic I am sure will have some form of PvP but the main goal of the developers is to cater to role players. Most all of the new mmo's on the way out are just catering to the role playing PvE crowd. Earthrise and Mortal Online are just two of the games to be released with PvP in mind.
