The folks at Vanguard have posted a series of developer answers to community questions.

Will you consider to revamp Karax and Varking since no one is killing them? Maybe make them both lvl 55 targets?

No plans to revamp them as of yet. We have made an adjustment to Varkings add casting that should make him a little more possible.

Are you considering implementing another Class Lead system, or a different way of improving class balancing and fixes?

Do not have the resources to manage a class lead system and we do not want to deal with the issues the last class lead system caused.

Will we ever know how much our total XP is w/out requiring a UI mod and how much XP is needed until next level? Like 43176/64823xp?

Possibly but not really high on the list.

 Funny thing i read this and it only furthers my rage with the devs of mmo's. To each question that needs improvement on the game the dev says We dont have the Resources to impliment that. So what does SoE only have 2 guys fixing bugs for this game or is vanguard dead and people who play it should seek another mmo???

I know it is hard to read inflection into a post on the internet, but almost all of those answer feel like the dev is so distanced from the game.  He only associates himself with the game in 4 questions either saying we or our.  Everything else sounds so robotic or disassociated with the answers. 

Something is just off about those answers.  Anyone know what dev it was?

They have no resources for anything when it comes to Vanguard. But they have plenty of resources to slap a full fledged RMT system to the game on top of your monthly fees.

A system no one was asking for.

But hey that's SOE. People should know that by now.

This just solidifies my decision to move on from this game.  Vanguard will always be a game that could have done a lot, but only did a little.  What a wasted opportunity for SOE....

 Those were not answers that any professional should be giving their customers. They inspire no confidence or belief. I am stunned that any company, even SOE, would allow such to be posted on their website about one of their products.

Wow talk about a bunch of crappy answers.  It's either NO or we dont have ressources for that.  Just shut the game already.

Worst dev Q&A ever.

I left SOE due to the Sony Cash crap. (Not against such things other than in a p2p already game.) But was lamenting yesterday that I would like to go back to Vanguard. Luckily this killed that desire. After reading between the lines on this and picking up on the devs tone I can say if the game isn't dead, it will be. It appears the players and the devs are unhappy.

I have to admit i was about to install VG back onto my pc and give it another shot til I read this too. It does seem like the game is on its death bed. I always thought this game was going to be the real EQ2, but it looks like SoE is going to just let it die. Any people playing VG able to give any input if the game is worth giving it another shot?

 Agreed, SOE blew it. Trash cleaner of SOE could answer those questions better, then devs
