oh wait right there. Id damn post the link to the video that CLEARLY SHOWS OPENINGS IN AREAS OF THE WORLD UNDERWATER if it was allowed. javac that is NOT a but, its called Bad programming for not filling up the voids. This is not texture thats bugged that after jumping /running ect lets you slip in. They are VISIBLE holes , areas where the textrue of one part does not touch the other texture.

and for the first 12 months of WOW i used to fall through the world and die and have to spirit rez almost every time i ever blinked on my mage over uneven terrain.
in WAR, there was a certain spot in destro keeps where you could fall through to the ground floor and/or place AoEs on the floor below and not get attacked back.
in EVE, since last patch i crash a couple of times per night when alt-tabbing out of eve and back again.
so blizzard, mythic and CCP are all bad programmers too according to you? ok, sure, whatever you say.

You can't track a conversation worth shit. Where did he say ANYTHING about turn speed? Did you give yourself a high five for this post too? No, YOU are missing the point, Macros are the direct opposite of skill.
Macroing the crafting system == The system is not fun/Rewarding.
Macroing the skill up system == The system is not fun/Rewarding. Macroing parts of combat == Skilless.

Oh javac give up.. its pretty obvious DF has major problems with modified clients and "hacks". Its a dominant issue on there fourm for over 4 weeks now. Whether a particular video has or doesn't have cheating in it is irrelevant. The game is buggy and easily exploitable. Please this is getting painful again ! Stop ignoring your own fanbase for this game. We have AV to do that. |

No noob, people just want to win at all cost....simple as that.
Its not whats fun and rewarding, but if i can hit someone over the head harder if i macro while i eat lunch at the computer, bet your ass im gonna do that.
Asheron's call had plenty of fun/rewarding skill system/harvest whatever....macroing was all over the place because it helped you win on Darktide
Quite easy to comprehend, now stob blabbering over this already. |

perspective? lmao, please. you're the guy who finds the difference between "your" and "you're" confusing and who says eve's fleet battles never lag or crash. perspective? what a joke.
are you now saying that other MMOs never have bugs too? least you'd be being consistent. Typical Javac. Whenever he can't argue his point, because there are none, he resorts to calling out grammatical errors. If an English teacher looks at his posts, she would have an aneurysm. He makes me laugh. |

Huge differences what your trying to compare is apples to oranges. Me being not only a beta tester from wow but played on and off for 4 years and even having a mage char i know your comment on blizzard is BULLSHIT. Yes you had the rare chance of poping under the world and dying , its was rare and DID NOT happen frecuently. But wait that was not what i was talking about, the blink was a known bug in darkfall what i talked about and the link Mcquaided posted is proof of bad programming of not filling up the textures properly. you can go into these texture holes ALL the time this is NOT a bug. Also the difference is you do not die you get to travel under the world. Thus VERY exploitable. The war one is very similar to the darkfall one however only in the area you describe which prob by now was fixed. Darkfalls problem is that its in most of the areas with big bodies of water even in some elf towns. The are easy to find. As for eve I also play eve too, the reason for the crash when you alt tab is setting your shadows to high. if you set your shadows to medium or low the problem is 100% gone. Now if i am not mistaken dont people turn off the shadows in darkfall due to the lag problems that occur with it. how strongly it affects the fps that even you fanboys reccomended not to use it? In this case its quite the same for both eve and darkfall. having your setting all high especially shadows will cause you to lag and suffer huge fps loss in battles which is why only the pve players in eve use the shadows in high. The reason why im typing this out is because there are major flaws in the map which people are taking advantage. Instead of defending the game from me use this damn evidence and report it to av and see if the next patch they can add textures to these holes . Any game i enjoy playing i quickly report somthing wrong. Ive reported shit in wow, eve and other games i have played. you should do the same especially if your such a fanboy that you rabidly defend the game as perfect ignoring everything that can be gamebreaking. Use this info to your favor go hurry and report it link the video or give em an idea where to look for it. help the small staff to make darkfall a better place. I have been posting here alot lately , but i dont even play the game. the reason. People like you javac. The fact that you try to make darkfall as the golden gem in all mmos, insult other mmo games ect is what fuels me to search deep down and show that this golden gem is just fools gold. Why not take the pargus1 approach. he plays darkfall, he even blogs about it and is always finding new news to report to the fans and everyone else alike of things we did not know exsisted. Like the new tank like siege thingy. However Pargus1 also reconizes the game has its flaws, its not perfect and its not for everyone. Also he does not go around dissing other players who tried the game and were unhappy or bashes other games. all he does is reports what he sees in a professional manner that only the real haters actually will try to take a bite at him. There is a reason why most of the skeptics and non players respect him or dont go after him. you wanna know why. BECAUSE HE DOESNT LIE, SUGARCOAT THE DAMN GAME . Take some classes from him, read his blogs. I have and enjoyed them hes a good writer. Watching Fanbois drop their soap in a prison full of desperate men. |

As i already said: FPS have macros, attended macros are legal in DF. You're saying FPS games take no skill? hmm ok..........
Also: macro-mining in EVE == the system is not fun/rewarding. Using glider in WOW == the game is not fun/rewarding.
You have zero objectivity or are a total and utter gaming newb.

{mod edit} Eve is still far superior game than Darkfall. Ppl who use macros in a "hardcore" game then call ppl carebears to me is nothing more than contradictory statement.
Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR. |

{mod edit} Huge difference my pal Huge difference. macro-mining in eve when caught its a bannable offence, it is used by people to sell isk for a rl profit. people do not use this to gain an advantage or be competitive. also macro mining is using a 3rd party software to do it. the same goes with wow its a 3rd party program to milk the game to make ingame money to sell that said money for rl money. Once again it does not give you any edge in pvp ect. Macroing in darkfall however has a huge impact. You may not do it but those who do get a major advantage in pvp they can focus more on it and be much more competitive than those who stick to trying to be legit. Once some start using it (even ky ky admitted to macroing his shit) other will follow. to boot you do not need a 3rd party program to do so. yes if caught unattended can get you suspended to even banned but most of the macroers are not stupid
Once again there is a huge difference to use a 3rd party program to make ingame money and sell it for rl money than making macros to gain an upper hand on any skill .

apart from it being physically impossible... archers are a ranged class... how on earth is it viable in melee range... simply because you can weave your mouse left and right... dont the characters move with any interaction with their surroundings... come on... I thought this game was the best thing since sliced bread... but that video just proves its even more bollox that wow. |
