Errm, they're actually the in-game forums which are not yet working, you access them from the game and launcher, every clan has their own section etc. It's a really good idea actually, but no. They're not working yet, and we shouldn't even be able to access them. When they get out of what I call "hidden beta stage", and can sell 24/7 and upgrade the site, I think the Darkfall site will be linked with the game, same goes for the forums and everything. Should be very interesting to see. :) _________ |

Hilarious, they can't even make simple forums work correctly... If you wonder why I don't answer your posts, it's most likely because you are on my ignore/block list. I recommend its use to everyone here - it helps you stay sane, avoid trolls, and by not answering to the troll's bait posts, avoid problems. |

Considering I've never played Darkfall (and I in fact indicated as much), I have no idea how their forums work for subscribers. I, however, have been subscribed to other games using vbulletin for their forums (or indeed other boards that have hidden sections) and it's the first time I hear that it works only for Internet Explorer despite my using Firefox exclusively for years. First time I hear about "visiting forums in-game", though; if I want to do that for games I play, I just alt-tab or, better still, I don't bother with forums until I'm finished playing. But no, what you really want to do is to engage in yet another bullying attempt to defend your game against "trolls" and the like when it was just an innocuous little joke on my part (and justified by all the "old school UO" love that the developers have been aiming for). Why so defensive over something like that? Looking at how thin-skinned and short-fused you are, I'm pretty glad I passed on Darkfall (which, by the way, has quickly obtained a reputation as the game with the worst community out there). |

I vote this the most painful thread to read (for this week at least). Only works in IE.... seriously ? Where the heck does it say that? Anyways you can only sweep so much shit under the carpet before it begins to show as a big shitty smelling mound. |

1- Each day Darkfall seems more a sect than a game. 2- You need ingame forums because macroing is really bioring. 3- You can use IE with or without the same problems as Firefox. |

That's not the official forum. It's the IN GAME fourm. The one you access in game, through the journal tab or the browser tab. The browser tab still doesn't work, and the journal one is useless. It takes forever to load and isn't of any real benefit. Even if you have a game account you can't log into those boards. Complete junk. |
