Its called Real Life.
Classes: There are so many classes you can be in real life its unlimited. PVE incounters: The boss mob in one senario is the Job interviewer for a well paid job Epic Quests: College and then Master Degree program. Rewards: Getting laid or finding an awesome companion to spend time with getting close to one another. Death penalty: Becoming broke in real life and not being able to support your self is a penalty for not playing the game of life well. Permadeath is a consiquince for not watching out for your actions. End Game: Retirment, enjoying your golden years (48-death for me when it happens) Living in a home you own of your liking. Having collected fine items through out your journeys on Earth. Spending time with family you and your mate have created and now growing them. Add to this if you want to it should be fun. The point of this thread is because alot of gamers are tired of the MMO market right now. Its not giving us what we really want. So my advice is play the best mmorpg there is and thats real life.
Chris out.

While I agree that the graphics are quite impressive, there are far more important things to good gameplay than graphics. The game is very realistic, but perhaps too much so. Features like injuries and illnesses simply don't make for fun gameplay. Alas, real life has several major drawbacks that you gloss over. One is the inability to choose your starting class, race, or stats at character creation. Another is the rather severe grind, taking literally decades for even a hard-core player to reach the end-game. A related problem is that of travel time. You'll often have to spend ten minutes or more simply trying to get from where you are to where you want to be. In some cases, this can stretch to literally hours of purely trying to travel from one place to another. Finally, it's not at all alt-friendly, and that's really the deal breaker. You only get one character and that's it. You're not even allowed to get a second character by creating another account, which is a much harsher policy than most games have. |

I agree. IRL is way to hardcore for me and the PvP is also quite horrible, much worse than GWs. No thank you, I've tried IRL and overall I found it to be very much overrated: all there is to is the graphics really. |

Really, the soundtrack killed it for me. Listening to the same garbage over and over again, while doing your dailies is just... Distracting. Oh, and gankers are out of control, especially in low-level zones. |

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |

Don't forget the monthly subscription fees are WAYYYY overpriced!! Also a complete lack of expansions, the entire game world is just one big ball, they haven't added any new areas since that failed moon questing area that no-one even bothers going to anymore. They really need to get a new Dev, the original one never does anything, personally I think he never really existed, and is just a PR stunt by fanbois! |

My machine won't run it...so I just sit here and browse this forum. I hope to get a better machine in my next life. It's better to lurk in forums and be thought a fool...than to endlessly "Quote" and remove all doubts. |
