Try AO free at first. That way if you don't like the game you haven't wasted any money on a game that you won't play. Adventurer class is very good. It has decent group healing and self healing skills. Happy hunting. :) |

I had a lvl 215 soldier as my main and a few mid level toons as well. This time I was thinking to roll a bureaucrat if I choose to come back. The thing is I'd like to know how's the current population because all my friends from AO have moved to other games. I just wouldn't like to level all alone there lol.
Ok, this seems no good. I found this thread just at the morning

Anyone of the current players who could confirm this? :/

As noted in the Funcom financial reports, AO's population has remained stable for about 4 years now. They keep adding content and spreading people all over. Last Booster pack (LoX) added a whole new set of areas to go to. As for RK1, back in january FC switched the download clint so that it defaults to sending new players to RK1 instead of RK2 as it had been doing for some years, so most newbies are turning up on that server at the present time. ~\_/~\_O |

Which is spin as we all know. A game could have 2 people playing it for 10 years and be considered to have a stable population. Also, anyone playing has noticed it harder and harder to find teams well within th last 4 years, so I'm pretty much calling bs on their claim anyway. |

Yea I remember it was hecks in Ado, missions in Pen (maybe some hecks but rarely) and finally missions in Inf and cool outdoor hunting as well Tiigs and so on. Weird that they skip Ado and Pen today. Well anyways, I have been logging few times a day with my old froob mule account just to check the population and chat channels mainly in rome/athen/borealis and I think I will reactivate my paid account soon. There seem to be people, definately not that many when I was last time around when Lost Eden launched but still nowhere near ghost town, not even close. Thinking to roll a crat and go for Omni, all my previous toons have been neuts. I will need to build my social network in game from scratch anyways because all of my friends have moved to other games I'm afraid. |
