If a game is Fun, It's a good game.

I need more time to get everything done!!!!

PQ influence, ORvR influence, Completing all the quests and doing the ToK unlocks for a particular Zone are almost impossible to fully achieve since I out level the tier way too fast.

It's like this in Tier 3 also, So before you say wait til high level Im already in a semi high tier and am still struggling with getting all my ORvR influence rewards even with ORvR going on for hours every night.

Here's a t2 Example, I run SCs with my Sorc a few times I do all the quests in the first of four hubs in that zone and do ORvR at least an hour in every zone and I've basically out leveled the tier.

That means I still have 75% of my quests and PQs to do and my Influence at best is 25-50% in ORvR with each pairing, not to mention I still dont have my Yellow set Items and special titles with the ToK. All that left to do and im about to turn chicken in ORvR.....

Listen guys I love this game but Imo I just feel these awesome tiers go by way too fast.

I've made Alts to park in each tier just to see everything lol.

I know with all the problems with WAR this is a minor one but I would still like Xp increased a bit so I don't outlevel all my quests and can get my influence ORvR rewards without having to perma stay in the pvp areas and neglect the rest of the game.

I guess this post can be taken as a positive since the game is so much fun with so much stuff to do that I want more time to complete it all, so try not to flame me for wanting to enjoy more of each tier.

Thanks for reading.

You can either agree with me or be wrong!

At the point I managed to wipe the cotton candy from that post off my post I can only say one thing.

I never really understand the people complaining about "Not being able to do it all". This started coming up in WoW and several other MMO's as well. We had ... what? *years* of MMO gaming before that where we kept asking for more content and more content than we could handle. And now we're finally starting to get it... and people start complaining they can't do it all on the same toon...Well tough luck, I hope you're forced to get used to it :p

Ideally for me a game would have so much content I'd *never* have to do anything twice, heck even see the same place twice.  (Yes, decades away no doubt).

What's hilarious is how many people early on whined about how "slow" levelling was.

I agree with the OP. The game zooms by. Sure, you want to have content to do on your alts, but two weeks to 40 is ridiculous.

Nutjobs appear to be able to level a character to max in very short order in a lot of games, so I'm not too surprised about rank 40 Choppas.

But, I think that one thing that gets overlooked - and shouldn't - is "What renown rank are they"? It makes a difference.

A "maxed-out" character in WAR isn't Rank 40. It's Rank 40/Renown Rank 80. How long does that take?

Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.

I'm not saying the game is too easy all I'm saying is I wished the XP gain was balanced a bit more.

And No pheace I don't want to Do everything  but When I out level even the most basic content I wonder if the Xp gain is balanced

WAR is a wonderful game Saying that the content is fun and wishing tier content actually lasted longer isnt bashing a game.

I'm not a power leveler, I've been trying to do a little bit here and there and when I struggle to even get basic RvR influence rewards due to way too Much XP given for everything I wonder if it needs to be toned down.

Also I'm not saying its fast to get to renown rank 80 just saying leveling out of tiers seems to be too fast for the amount of content they have in the zones.

Other then the Xp gain imbalance I'm enjoying my game play experience very much.

You realize that in 2 days, people with lots of free time (like students) could easily put 100-150+ hours into a game?

In that time you could beat several console RPGs, or dozens of others such as FPS types.  It's not surprising at all that hardcore gamers can max level in no time.  Using AoE and maximized xp/hour setups it shouldn't ever be hard to do that unless you're playing a F2p/Korean grind mmo.

Uhm... no. I never realized that if you were sufficiently hard-core, you could warp the very fabric of time itself.

That IS impressive, I must admit.

Wow. No, I didn't realize that. The slightest hint of that thought never began to even speculate about crossing my mind. I was totally, completely, utterly unaware of that possibility.

Dammit. I must have studied the wrong stuff, if that's what students do these days...

*hilarious* comment, by the way :)

anybody that gets to rank 40 in 2 weeks must not have any other responsibilities in life to take care of. i have been playing since around christmas and i have a rank 20 and 30 toon and i personally think i spend way too much time playing the game. i do keep my renown up to level with my normal rank though which takes it longer. no wonder some people say they get bored of a game in 2 months, i would too if i played for hours and hours every single day of my life.

I'm going at a slow pace and I only have one toon at 40, some in the high 30s, and most below 20. And I've been playing since launch! The thing is, the leveling speed is fine - just avoid quests and scenarios and you'll find that you have plenty of time to get whatever you need. Do oRvR, like Mythic intended, to get your Renown fix. A few "emergency" scenarios for when you don't have time here and there are okay, but, just like donuts to any diet, you should try to avoid it. They are a wealth of XP.

A slower leveling curve would only draw complaints of "ZOMG TOO SLOW TOO MUCH GRIND QQ". Trust me.

Yeah That's my problem, I don't really want to skip my personal quests or pve PQs or SCs.

I do all that stuff with my guild along with ORvR.

What am I gonna do? Tell them that I don't want to play with them cause I don't wanna turn chicken in the Orvr zones before I get all my influence rewards? that's lame lol. I would sound like some selfish prick.

Anyway I think I figured out a way to do it all, Since I can save my Quests in my journel I could always just go back to the previous tier and do the PQs (helping guildies complete them) and running old quests at a reduced xp rate.

I'm in an incredibly active guild that I enjoy playing with very much, so skipping out on content wouldn't be cool.

I'm sure other players are in the same situation, we have a full warband sieging keeps every night and full guild SCs and PQs/Lairs. Shit I havent soloed anything other then a quest in weeks.

Thanks for reading.

while i see where you are coming from, it is a luxus problem! Because basicly there is a bigger problem than not being able to do it all! And that is to be able to concentrate on what you like and lvl only doing that ! And that does the game do a decent job at.

But what kind of server are you on!

Don't worry, the curve slows down when you hit T4. And why are you worried about maxxing the lower tier PQ influence? You'll get better gear when you get to the next tier anyway. And you can forget about unlocking every single Tome entry before you outlevel a zone, Mythic made far too many Tome unlocks to do that.

And you know that the oRVR rewards are based more on Reknown which levels far slower than your Rank? If you do too much PvE content at the lower Tiers your Reknown will always fall behind. Concentrate on oRVR in the lower Tiers to slow your XP down and your Reknown be more equal to your level.

I actually have the opposite problem getting XP in T4. T4 Scenarios are shutting down from lack of players on my server and oRVR doesn't give much XP. I'm being forced to do PvE when I'd rather be doing RvR. All I want to do it level cap because I'm tired of running into all the Rank 40s in T4 but the game deliberately inhibits that.
