I have been playing Darkfall now for a while. Not been around here meanwhile. Now when i decided to take a look here, i see alot of whining from people that isnt even playing. And they give the advice to other to not play Darkfall. Very weird.

So i just wanted to add some thoughts to people that want to know about the game itself. Darkfall is still a PvP sandbox MMO. No safezones whatever. The guard towers only give you a false sense of security. Its a harsh gameworld were wars could ravage your gameplay at anytime. Darkfall also dont give a *%#& how cool you think you are i other MMOs, here you are nothing. No heroes. If you think as the clan wars in Africa in the 90s, that was also a horrible community....but it happend.

So what makes this game interesting? Well both EVE and Lineage2 have full PvP, but is completerly different. The lack of levels/classes and the realtime combat system make Darkfall a totally different experience. From the first minute ingame, it is on! You can cut down anyone, if you are good. So this makes it very interesting. And you can do whatever you want, become a cook, trader, soldier, pirate or anything else you might wanna try. Its the nfreedom the players like the most.

Anyway! Darkfall is difference from most other MMOs out there right now. Its not as WoW, WAR, LOTRO or AoC. I guess this is the reason why its so difficult to understand the absence of example quest or xp. And dont think there is a pont of making a this thread any longer, so i will just end it here. If some noob wana know more about the gameplay they can ask other players.

Yep, i made a promise. But when i saw all the BS here, i had to come back. Its like all the haters stayed and all fanbois went to play the game. Wich leave this forum in some really bad shape i would say. Its not like all haters moved to another game, no! 70% of all posts are from people hating (not playing) and i must say i think that is to weird to not return.

I think everyone would agree on that. So we can say that its the haters fault the fanbois need to return. Not mine : ) I want to play instead.

It's nt weird at all. It's been that way with every game that disappointed people waiting for it. In this case it's inevitable because so few [people can  play it. It's hard to play a game you can't buy.

Why should they leave the game they like so much to care about what others think? After all, "...these forums are full of trolls..".

There is nothing in common since "...all the trolls here don't play the game so they don't matter...".

 I don't need to take a hacksaw to my genitals to know its going to hurt.  Playing a game is no different.  I can see that the whole thing is a train wreck.

You could see WAR was a train wreck compared to WoW. But we have nothing to compare Darkfall to.

And the reason why i post here now is because i read many say they wont try the game since all the bad trolling here. I find that unfair. MMORPG.com is a big community. It should also be people loving MMORPGs. But no, many here have never said anything good about any MMO. Wich i also find to be really crazy. If you have MMOs as a hobby....shouldent liking them be a part of it??

You are forgetting about the segment who is still waiting for DarkFall to become a finished product and provide the Features they said would be there from the beginning.
 

When Tasos and Aventurine releases a finished game that is worth the money and time to buy and play it... THEN we will. 

Until DarkFall offers it's Free game trial and  let's the game speak for itself... there will be many who decide we can wait until it's finished before we try it for ourselves.

Be thankful there are still some of us who hold Developers responsible for what they say and don't purchase Beta products (even if we could). 

But what features have Aventurine failed to deliver? As far i know they managed to stay more true to thier featurelist then most other companys manages to do.

And i agree that a free trial would be really good for all the rumors surrounding Darkfall.

A low blow! Poor old Daarco had to wait an eternity to get in.  I will lay a penny to a pound that in 6 months he will either be long gone (really) or bitter about all the emotional energy that he invested in this floater that just wont go round the U bend.

it is unfortunate, but the game is just terrible. When 90% of their claims are not in the game, and the fact that even their website says it is still beta you have to wonder about the company, and how it thinks of the game. They got what money they could in an attempt to recoup their years of squandered wages, and I can't imagine a reason why they keep pushing this garbage.

 This game is just something to play to Mortal Online comes out. You saying that people who are talking are people who have not played the game but I guess you ignore all the people who beta tested the game and tried the game and say that the game is total trash.

In all honesty if people say they will not play because of what we spew on here then they didnt want to play that bad anyways. I have played it briefly and it was horrible. The whack a mole and zerg pvp does nothing for me. Also all the feature complete talk when most are not there is also trash. But you do not have to be in the plane crash to know one took place. Its not just us supposed trolls who trash the game because there are more than enough players to do that. The only reason I appreciate the rabid fanboys is they so far have bought 2 accounts off ebay and for that I say thank you/

those who don't have the balls to deal with fear, risk, & loss, naturally are gonna complain/whine/cry and blame the game.

it's certainly true that most of the people bashing the game have never played it or were simply slaughtered one time and they couldn't hack the loss, hence the seething hate & exaggerations.

personally i think even in its relatively unpolished state, it's still the best PVP MMO around atm, and i'm loving every day of it.

Its not a huge PVP sandbox battleground, its a PVP battleground. The cosmetic adds Adventurine put there to trick players into thinks something more didnt convert it into a sandbox game.
Fear, risk, loss... I didnt see any. As was said multiples times, equip didnt matter, only players skill, so you die, nothing lost.
About the Best PVP MMO around, well, if you think a game that only offer pvp as the best, im sure that a version of Tekken in a persistent world would be a bettet PVP MMO than Darkfall

The Best PVP around? Its like watching a group of kids blindfolded trying to hit pinatas with sticks. Lmao
