Update March 27th + Patch Notes Something billing related: Some people are reporting messages about getting charged again for the Darkfall Client. This is an erroneous message that got triggered while billing requests were being processed and delayed transactions are going through for players who had not been billed properly and could not access the subscription page to get a subscription. If you were actually charged for the Darkfall client recently, it's because your charge just went through, and you hadn't been charged properly before. In the unlikely event that a double charge is initiated for whatever reason, the transaction is canceled within 24 hours. Also about the extra days we gave out, they will be applied to all accounts properly, whether you're seeing the correct amount of days remaining in account management or not. This will be updated correctly. About siege mechanics: A few days ago a siege ended without the expected result. We investigated why this happened and discovered a combination of unrelated errors were responsible. Everything associated with this has been corrected so it won't happen again. We want to thank everyone for their feedback on this incident. We are investigating reports of client crashes during sieges. These aren't server related so it's harder to pinpoint the source of each crash. If you experience a client crash during a siege, please send us an error report. In order to do this, go to where your Darkfall folder is located and run SFErrorReport.exe (example: Program Files > Darkfall> SFErrorReport.exe.). Follow the simple instructions and send the error report. It's important that you do this before you re-enter the game after the crash. This is a significant patch today as you can see by the patch notes below and the size of the update. There are a whole lot more fixes in than listed, mostly items which corrected existing bugs. We already have a lot more enhancements in production for the subsequent patches. Our entire team is working continuously as always to improve the game. * Weapon visuals have been enhanced Thank you, The Darkfall Team |

That's a lot of work there. The two key words I see are "updated" and "tweaked." Looks like they are continuing on the right path so far.
That note about "double billing" is somewhat troubling though. I'd definitely check my card statement twice as a customer, no matter what it is explained by as being fixed. |

This post may seem like trolling but whatever: Seems like they have freetime to update animations and other low priority stuff, so it means game is in pretty good shape (meaning only few bugs(all games have some), no hackers and etc.). Why they dont release more servers? This is one of the biggest problems now cause they just losing customers( probably). I doubt it is so hard to buy hardware and put in all software....
P.S. I see many magics on the list, why no one using them in all those videos posted in this forum? P.P.S. No i am nor hater, nor troll, just interested... |

Only a few people are deep enough into it at this point to get a lot of it, the few people I know who are don't waste their components casting them unless they are sure it isn't going to be wasted (like shooting at someone from a mile away). Lots of good changes though, looking forward to getting home later to see what they have done. |

All in all, a lot of the raphics needed tweaking (some need more). Still I like to see progress |

A WoW server cluster has about 7 regular servers making it up, or so I heard, feel free to correct me...so making a new DF server would be like making 11 WOW servers, interconnected. But is there enough potential population to make another one viable, how long it takes to set up...
So yea, I think the only other server besides EU1 would be NA1, when that comes no one knows |

MMOs require more reasoning and imagination than most stereotypically ''adult'' activities. |

Just saying, "these things have been changed" is hardly informitive. It might be a translation issue. Instead of Updated, T should have said Improved. We could start a long discussion on exactly what "tweaked" (such a silly word) means. |

So yea, I think the only other server besides EU1 would be NA1, when that comes no one knows I've read long ago while following DFO that their theoretical limit was 50k players but capped at 10k for performance/safety reasons. This could raise the possibility that some day they simply might up limits by 5k sums or something per server. If ever they get three servers populated this could have peaks between 30k and 60k and still be far below even half theoretical limits. What epic potential DFO has is not so much in it's visual tech (obviously MO kills it in graphics) but in it's server performance. No other mmo has tried to form a community in a traditional world emulation like this before (or has come close...with all DFO's faults it is coming close). An online society of 10k+ players at once is going to create some unique gaming experiences. I stll plan on looking back at DFO once a new server is in place and double the current content is tested/completed. It is still half the game promissed to us and that is not enough for me. |

The only unique I see is losers on official forums arguing for their clans like they are serious business. |

So, if there are even 10,000 players in Darkfall, that is the equivalent of 2.5 WoW servers. He who keeps his cool best wins. |

Nope, I won't start one, I'll simply agree with you that they could have been more descriptive to what they actually did with them. But I guess since I'm not actually playing Darkfall at the moment, that wouldn't affect me too much, or mean that much to me personally. As someone who is just following it thus far, the tweaked and updated looks good though, since I hadn't paid for it yet and am watching its progress. |
