This, many people don't realise that this is exactly how the vaportrolls sounded when Darkfall videos came out.

Now on a serious note, MO will probably bite a big chunk out of DF's playerbase, especially the graphic whores and the soloers/lone wolfs. MOs Melee combat is probably superior as well.

On the other hand all the Lineage 2/Shadowbane/<insert clan based MMO here> clans that want to own their own cities and kill each other endlessly in big battles will stick around with Darkfall.

Unless I see a player build city or a battle that consists of more than 50 people I don't consider that DF's clan core is threatened by MO.

With the exception of the video link, what you described in your post is DF as it is right now.

There wasnt anything roaming the few animals in a scene looked very static..and there was two encounter as mobs at best ..world was barren..i ll give you mounted combat ..but magic ? at best 1 spell looked like particle effects could have been dirt lol 

because i will not upset you (cause we fighted trolling all the last time together) ..It is sarcasm...till to the point i honest not see why these video should convince me to MO..i see many similarties ..some things looked like more intresting  then DF (melle combat) but then again..most not ..or not are to seen in these vid ..

Qeueing is much better ..is almost gone ..

Do you guys really think that Mortal Online is going to be void of attacks while WOW, AoC, WAR, Darkfall, and the others are consistantly attacked here?

Since Vanguard:SoH release, I've noticed one consistent aspect of people here in the forums. They attack.

I watched the video. The graphics are ok. What I really need to see is more feature listings (I'll be looking into it). And as it stands, I won't put a dime into Mortal Online until you guys test it for me and get it stabilized.

Which they've said they are not going to publish until later/closer to launch because they don't want to be like other *ahem* companies and promise features that may end up not making it in. Additionally it keeps them from half-assing some features just to get it in because of the flak they'll get if they don't. Makes perfect sense to anyone capable of rational thought.

Looks ok...still not my cup of tea (sci fi fan) but it doesnt look too bad. Animations could use a little bit of work, like the world and how it looks, haven't seen enough to make a valid decision. But it doesnt look too bad....a few notches above DF.

The big difference, I think, is that In Darkfall's case the comments were warranted. In this case, DR is just trolling.

Played this game for 1 week.

I even played AoC for more than a month. Consider that.

The combat animation was great for the players hands but some of the animation looked flaky. Though least it was fluid and didn't look like the charectors are constipated like DF does. too much frelling blood though. Dont overdo it you'll only attract some of the sad pots that inhabit the DF community.

Oddly optimistic. But maybe that cause Tasos isn't behind the curtains.

God, I hope not. I hope that Darkfall sticks around and all the asshats stick with it. The Mortal Online community is so much nicer than Darkfall's. If Darkfall ends, the dregs of the MMO community that currently populate Darkfall will no doubt flood to Mortal Online.

Let the grafhic whores go to MO all tho latest HD video MO looks terible, i still think the real hardcore stick with Darkfall all the ex-themepark play MO.
