I've got some time off coming up and was thinking about resubscribing and wanted to read up on recent updates and get a feel for what the communities current issues are.

Unfortunatly, the official forums seem to be missing. The only thing left are a few of the foreign boards. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is this temporary or are they gone forever?.

International Forums
Deutschsprachige Foren (4 Boards)
Les Forums de la langue Francaise (4 Boards)
???????? (4 Boards) 
 

The various trackers only show posts inside those boards when I try them.

Apparently they have changed their policies recently so that a subscription is required just to read the forum. I recieved the message

Oooops.. You don't have sufficient privileges to access this forum

when attempting to use the direct link posted above. I find it interesting that I am no longer allowed to keep track of game updates and general community news unless I pay them first.

Ah well, I was thinking about resubing..

Went right to the forums for me without any problems.

Something is, or was, wrong at the forums. Log out and you should be able to see rest of the forums.

I just tried the forums and they work for me.

Still there, still working, don't need to be logged in to read.

Forums are working fine. However if you are logged in and don't have an active subsciption to VG they only show you the 4 foreign forums.

I just checked that myself and when opening forums they worked fine, then I logged in to my account (VG subscription cancelled on account), and instantly got an error. Refreshing the page then showed the 4 foreign forums only.

Something was broken but it looks like it is fixed now.  Forums are all back no evil conspiracy.

Although now I'm having intermittant issues with mmorpg's forums....
