I owe Darkfall and Tasos a huge apology. I posted last Thurdsday very angry and dissappointed with the way they are doing their limited sales. Now while I still feel its unfair to most people that work here in NA during those times <well anywhere that may work those times>, and I do think they are taking too long to bring up more servers. On Friday I actually got a copy of Darkfall from someone else and I paid double the sale price. Now I know alot of people are going to think im nuts. The bottom line id pay four times the sale ammount since playing it. This game is f+cking amazing. Now the guy who sold me the account thought it was a pile of dog poo and he was going back to WoW <He was totally serious about WoW>. Darkfall is not the best graphically, its a little clunky to control, its got sync problems. However it also has "magic", that something special. This game is incrediable to play, its so much fun and encomposing you can't leave. The NPC AI plays better then every Alliance BG player. Hell I think if you had 9 DF NPCs with you in a WSG game you would win 90% of the time. The biggest thing I didn't know was how everything breaks eventually and most can't be repaired...this is awesome. Every crafting skill is needed and doesnt go stale. The economy keeps moving due to the durability issue. The only major problem I see is the sync error which eventually causes hunting to be almost impossiable. To the Darkfall team and Tasos, im truely sorry, you have made something special <while not for everyone>. Rest assured this game is not going anywhere and it will battle and topple the other PvP biased games out there. AoC and Warhammer should be critting their pants in fear.

Only statement I can really disagree with.  Gameplay of those other two games is too different, and appeals to a different niche of players than what DF will draw.

All 3 games will probably succeed enough to keep going, none will ever be a WOW type blockbuster. (but then, no game probably ever will match WOW for numbers)

Glad to see you like it.  Queing and availability aside, this is the best MMO that I have ever played.

I've been in a few 100 person battles and one 300 or so person battle.  This is where the most fun is.  Our clan city is mostly complete so our focus has shifted to the other aspects of the game.  I can tell already the sieging is going to be epic with some huge battles already brewing.

Fair enough post although I don't see why you're apologising, from your post it seems the complaints you made earlier were and are still valid. On another note Darkfall success largely depends on wethere circulation is increased server stability is improved and hacking/cheating is steamed out. If these three things are not taken care of a lot of people will pickup mortal online or another one of the incoming mmorpgs, even if darkfall is a better game on paper. A smooth and timely US release would definitely help things along.

He FINALLY got the game.

That pretty much sums it up. We will see if any of these other people who keep flaming the game without actually playing it yet, try this novel approach, or just keep frothing at the mouth "Don't buy Darkfall."

That's like sayng I owe Blizzard an apology for their incompetence. A completely unbalanced class system, constant nerfs and redesigning class roles, a lagfest wintergrasp, DK and pally overpopulated BG's, gear and rep grinds, and ignoring a disgruntled playerbase.

WoW = a massive gear/rep grind for what? To play in a arena system that is a glorified duel? To stand around in a major city with your epics to enhance your e-peen bravado?

It is obvious there is a huge waiting list to get in the game. Let them sort things out on their end. Eventually the haters who need hand holding will give up and go back to WoW.

lol i thought this argument was obsolete now? the game came out and ppl are enjoying it. i fail to see how that makes him a bull**** artist. maybe your just mad because you havent got your copy yet. just wait till they launch the us server like the rest of us my friend

You seem to be one of the people who did not follow the game for a good number of years. After I beta tested I saw what a crock Tasos is. If you are going to play DF, you deserve everything that is coming to you.
