But people are hurt, people are afraid and consequently people are angry. Such are the times. So we go to places where we regular are and try to find out how others deal with those emotions. Quite a natural thing I guess.

Well tbh it's the principle we're talking about.

In truth, I tried --literally, tried-- to find an "on topic" post that interests me.

The MMORPG industry just does not interst me, anymore.  The industry is facing a creative crisis as it, kicking-and-screaming, exits the WoW-era of MMORPG.

The next era is either innovative payment systmes, which I hope and anticipate will fail hard, or innovative content.  The copying-and-pasting of features has not, and cannot, work; it is about designing new concepts and creating new features.

Just because you may not be interested in all of the subjects does not mean others are not, you are free to share your opinions just as well as the next girl. If you want a forum that people only discuss things you like go make a forum and all the rules you wish.  Until then live and let live. you don;t want to read it , don;t if you do go for it... everyone is entiteld to talk about what they feel like talking about not just the things that interest you.

It annoys you when people post posts you do not like to read. and you are afraid that more people might post posts you don;t want to read.  You are afraid that it might lead to an entire forum full of posts you do not want to read.  You are okay with some nonserious posts as long as they are not what you think should only be said in an IRC chat channel. Apperntly you missed my point entriely.

Who died and named you king turd to deem what is interesting to every poster in this forum?  Maybe some people do want to hear about her getting drunk and having mad sex .. just because that does not interest you , you deem it a crappy topic and decide that it has no place here.  I mean sure I don't want stalkers.. psychotic creeps, or people that come on a site just to insult people, but someone posting whatever they feel like posting as long as it isn't  harming anyone I am not seeing the problem here. If you don;t want to read about her party last night you can just skip it and not post. create a topic on what you are interested in talking about. That is what most people do.

You do realize that if like say 50 girls decide to come to this site and we start making threads and become friendly with each other and talk about girl things that is perfectly okay to do so and you should have no problem with it right? we could start talking about hair and makeup and nailpolish colors and  running through the sprinklers at 3 am wasted  and what we did to that guy that was an ass when he passed out at a party... and that should be fine. If you don;t want to know about it just don;t read it.  Everyone has just as much right to post their crappy threads in your eyes as you do to post what they might consider crappy.  Whether or not it is crappy is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone is interestd in the same things, if they were this world you be a VERY boring place.

People are different and we all have different expierances, understanding the differences in people give a better understanding as to who they are.  Just as I do not have the right to dictate on here and say okay I only want to see threads on computer modding, superkickass custom metal light sculptures,  and garbage into energy threads and I hate to see those threads about ipods, all ipod threads are crappy and I don;t want to see anyone post threads on ipods  if one person starts posting about them then more will come here and ruin our forums posting about ipods because this is not an irc chat channel...

Excuse me, but where did I say that she can't post these things? You seem to try to put words in my mouth.

I'm simply explaining why some people, myself included, are getting annoyed with some of the posts Teala makes. I'm all for "don't like it, don't read it" but the threads myself and others are interested in and we have been talking about for years now are pushed back. I don't like to watch this forum being turned into /b/ 4 chan garbage.

Again, nobody is saying that she can't post these things but I am well within my rights to post that I find these threads annoying, and I know I'm not alone in that.

Can you please show me where I said you said she couldn;t post these things? Oh yea I didn;t . lol What I said ( if you throughly read through my post again) is that you are deciding what is a crappy post and what is not, whereas that is in the eye of the beholder. Some may not think it to be a crappy post and some may think it a crappy post.. but not EVERYONE thinks it is a crappy post. I am sure there are people who agree on both sides.

What is being pushed back? I mean if people want to post on a thread they will, anytime a site gains more members you are going to have a larger variety of topics and that is just the way it is. The same goes for mmos.. I mean it is always cool in beta where you have a better community well some think so some do not, and then like more people come in that are different that do not like the same things you do and it changes things.
 

There is only one certain in this world, and that is change. Whether it be good or bad is up to who is viewing it.   Now what you are saying is if a bunch of girls come on here and start talking about parties, sex, and why all men should be forced to wear loin cloths, that suddenly that has changed the site and turned it into garbage? I don;t think so, I think that if you just want to post on the threads you like great, if you don;t like a thread just don;t post on it. it is rude to go off insulting the member by telling her her threads are irc garbage. That is just mean.  That makes people feel unwelcome. I mean I could understand if they were stalking a member or something, or were a pottymouth runnin around insulting people, but that is different. 

She has just as much right to post threads you find annoying as you have a right to post threads others find annoying  because there is always someone else who doesn;t find either of your threads annoying. does that clarify it for you? lol

Honnestly, I really don't care if people who feel a need to informm other people they are going to have "mad sex"  and how awesome their strip tease moves  feel unwelcome. it's just begging for attention, No I take that back, I actually hope those people feel unwelcome. I'm well within my right to have an opinion and express my opinion that those posts are garbage, just like I think it's bullshit that you feel a need to post every post you make in red.

Oh boy .. lol  I completely understood your point.  And yes you are entitled to have you opinion about posts, but yes you have made it perfectly clear that your inentions are to make people feel unwelcome and do not care if it is rude.  I never implied that and clarified that already... please read the words that are written on the page rather than your own thoughts. You are entitled to your opinion just as other  posted have already stated on this thread they look forward to her posts, and enjoy them, they are enititled to theirs.  If you do not like red of course you can write mmoprg. coma  letter and request they only make type in one color, though they will most likely just laugh at you for being so anal on the subject.

I agree.  Nobody is "scared" of women or other opinions or Texas, despite being beaten over the head with topics and posts about both on a daily basis.  Things get annoying after a while, you can keep posting, and people can keep complaining.  That is their right.

The cycle continues.

No matter what forums you go to there is going to be a serious topic, but if it's not serious and casual I would at least like it to make sense and have good discussion. Topics that are full of nothing or just a big tease might be better off in the Spam. Not I'm kinda tired of all the Political threads, because some posters can just bump these things.  Now I remember my days of posting topics a lot and to be honest, by me...it's nothing but good then TROUBLE. Now maybe if I had a vagina it would be soo diffrent, but I see how people act towards others, nothing I can do about that though. There has a big lack of good threads unrelated to the world and they used to tell me that I only care about my post count.
