If you got banned then the mods have seen that the IPs of all the banned accounts are the same.

Just alot of negative posts and insinuating that Star Vault will fail .... I am not surprise he was banned.

When I click on that link, I get an error saying that it can't be found.  That being said, if what the poster above states is true, then it could be construed as having broken the rules of the forum, which expressly prohibit advertising for other games.  Even if the intent was not to advertise for Shadowbane, which it probably wasn't, the mods do have a good deal of discretion, and their decisions appear to be final, based on the rules post here:

My main is account is ghoul31. I have been posting  on this forum and other forums for the last 5 years as ghoul31. So that is obviously not an alt account. Please do some research before making false statements

Then why are you here? go back to the official froums, where half of all posts get deleted. People are actually allowed to discuss a game here. We don't have to worry about every thread being locked.

They also close any thread that mentions any other game. You need to talk about other games, so you can discuss what they did right and what they did wrong.

They really don't. I've been in many threads where people have been talking about MO and EVE and darkfall/WoW etc, in the same sentence. However, if the author makes a thread where he directly starts comparing game A with game B, then it gets locked, since such a thread should be in the "games" section of the forum.

Usually it is a week old newbie who starts comparing darkfall with MO (which there must be at least 100 older threads of already) and it gets locked.

I have gone in there and said that the devs made dumb statements and acted retarded, and since it was justified at the time, they didn't censor me at all, so I can't really agree that they are "harsh".

darkfall, independent, but semi okay game
MO, probably going to be better than darkfall because better dev team, INDEPENDENT.

seems like all the independent games, were AWESOME. Because they were made by people with a vision. The only good game that came from a developer with a LOT of funding was world of warcraft… You’re an idiot. Go play wow

Independent companies do have more creative ideas, the question is whether they can pull them  off with limited manpower and experience.
