300 is nothing for a fight in eve.  hasn't been anything for years, and yes, lag free.

I don't care for EVE that much but it is one of the better looking games graphically out there, in any genre, not just mmo's.  A text based mud???  A grid???  Hardly.   If EVE looks like a text based, grid hex squared game then Darkfall looks like Pong, Missle Command, Frogger or that Star Wars wire frame arcade game (which is one of my all time favourite games btw).

those games were everquest clones with pvp. This game is a pvp game, different beast. First of its kind sine ultima online....in 3d no game has done this. AOC was everquest with flashy graphics and pvp...nothing wrong with everquest, but thats more of a coop-rpg than an mmorpg.

DFO is nothing else but a giant FPS  FFA arena.

No see Darkfall does not work like that.  I know I was in beta.  Farm Potions and use potions and you will win every 1v1 battle.  No player skill in farming for potions and using potions that have no timer and can be used non stop. 

Add in that you can marco the who farming potions thing you can get an endless amount of potions.

Examples? The only mmo's that have done large scale PvP with reason was SB and EvE. Name some off that have done large scale please. World of Warcraft... attack the king? DF sieges are carebear compared to the epic seiges that some have seen in the glory days of SB.

As another example...
Lineage 2 has had, and continues to have, Castle Sieges with 100+ per side. For the larger, more influential castles, it can go above 200+ each side. And owning a castle in L2 *does* have meaning, both in terms of game mechanics (get to set taxes on that region, etc) and in terms of inter-clan politics.

So far everything that's been posted or linked here as "proof" of this shows no more than 25-35 or so on-screen at once. I watched the vids... I've looked at the screenshots. I've counted the visible characters on-screen. It's been nowhere even close to 300.

All ready did, its called planetside, and it came out in 2003.

First of all, everything is the same color, second of all the only good thing is the ship models, and they still look like legos with fancy fire decals......no offense but i don't consider three animations in a period of twenty minutes good graphics. Maybe eve is a type of game where the graphics are like there just to represent and thats all, but you can't tell me these graphcis are better than darkfalls graphics.....there is more to graphics than polygons and textures btw ther eis also how they are put together with the engine, and eve's graphics, even though they are using cutting age things, are just shitty in my opinion, and if you watch hti video and you don't agree that these are the most boring graphics ever, even more boring than the realm considering ther eis more shit going on in the screen, then your nots....

and i've seen three hundred player sieges on darkfall and seen all the player son at once....name me one other game please.
