You haven't read the article at all, have you? The article clearly says that the differences are minor. The PS3 version has framerate issues at time and a bit more aliasing, where as the Xbox360 version lacks some detail in the black levels. Are there differences? Sure, but to say one looks like shit is downright laughable. |

But I believe being able to run smooth is far superior then minor visuals. Maybe thats just me. Laughable, indeed. If you paid for a PS3. |

The game runs at a stead framerate most of the time and there are very few noticable framerate drops, have you actually even played the game? |

They're shunning you over doing something you enjoy? Sounds like shitty friends to me. Virtual or not, if you enjoy it then it doesn't matter what they think. Seems your interests have shifted - they can deal with it. Would they like you better if you kept the 360? Pathetic friends, if so. |

To each their own. Have fun on your return to WoW. And a word of advice, since you no longer have a console, I VERY highly recommend a copy of Left 4 Dead for the PC. That way you have something familiar to play when you want a break from WoW. The game is very good on the PC and i have had no problems finding groups. |

Well you got other games besides FPS's... and some good ones out/comming soon: Street Fighter 4--fighting Champions Online--mmorpg Ghostbusters-- just awesome HAWX-- flight sim Final Fantasy 15 (er whatever)--rpg Alot of those games would take a killer PC to run on your HDTV @ 1920x1080, prolly a 600-1000 dollar system if not more. Xbox cost ya 150-200 and you get 1080p no worries. Also, Netflix-- I know you can watch on your pc but if your house isnt wired or you don't have a home media server this is very nice. All movies in high def streaming. I read that Netflix is going to start offering a "premium instant watch" subscription with HBO movies/series and more new releases. I think the Xbox 360 is one of my favorite systems of all time, up there with good ol snes, dreamcast and n64.

Originally posted by Superthrust No, they arent saying its worse than paying your bills... They just aren't impressed that you closed your eyes, and piggybacked on pop-culture to justify the "greatness" of your "sacrifice." Being "active" is not the polar opposite of owning or playing videogame consoles... I have several friends who are ripped... They get harassed at the bars, and constantly are being asked to get drunk, go party... In reality, he won't ever shut up about WoW... He has an xbox360 and a stupidly high ranking in Halo3. Truth be told hes the geekiest/nerdiest guy I know, and he definatly plays the most video games. Yet everyone calls him "active" and me, a guy who spends hours and hours every day working on his COSC work, a videogame freak cause I don't workout every day. Quite frankly I laugh at people like you who feel they take the high horse by selling their videogaming stuff and buying a cellphone. People who are so easily persuaded by popular image that they feel that is a valid justification for their action.
