The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |

Originally posted by Flummoxed That's actually not a bad idea. I often see a new f2p game mentioned and wonder "maybe it's fun?", but when you go to the site you have to Register and d/l some downloader and jump thru 6 different hoops, so i never bother. Being able to click and d/l while i'm still interested is useful.
I'd be willing to gamble you still have to jump through registration hoops... I recall one game asking for my social, I told it to shove it. - CaesarsGhost Lead Gameplay and Gameworld Designer for a yet unnamed MMO Title. |

Yay! Now MMORPG.com has an actual use other than being a haven for trolls and illiterate gamers. |

Hopefully getting your download added is just a simple matter of making sure GameGravity has it... What about the option of adding Developer approved torrents? |

I too like this feature. It does get quite annoying trying to figure out where to DL some games. And I can update my external with newer clients :D |

Moderation seems better then it has been or it has suddenly picked up speed and am hoping it stays that way, the site is growing and offers user generated content through blogs with the site still remaining fairly easy to navigate. And now this feature adds more functionality. As for illiterate gamers it might just be me but most regular posters don't fit that bill. It's a big site so you'll have bad apples with the good, but in general MMORPG.com has been doing good lately. IMO. (,,,)=^__^=(,,,)Game Latte Vidcast |

Never make anything idiot proof as someone will make a better idiot. |

Makes sense to me. I would not click on a download link that I didnt want so it will help when needed and will be ignored when not.
Nice decision MMORPG Played or Beta'd: UO / DAOC / Horizons / EQ2 / DDO / EVE / Archlord / PirateKingsOnline / Tabula Rasa / LOTRO / AOC / Champions / Darkfall / Mortal Online / DCUO / Rift / |

Well Done! Another excellent addition to the functionality of MMORPG.com!
Suggestion: Also add buttons to download from the Game List tab [I know it will take a day or so to do that, but you could just make each <down arrow> a link to the download] <p align=center><a target=_blank href=http://www.nodiatis.com/personality.htm><img border=0 src=http://www.nodiatis.com/pub/20.jpg></a></p> |

Does this essentially mean that actually going to GameGravity.com is obsolete? [Insert reason to be considered a super nerd here] |

That's what I meant with the torrent stuff. Usually the free mirrors are too slow and some times I can't even pause and resume my downloads, so I almost always go after torrents in generic trackers like Mininova, afraid that maybe the file I'm downloading is not the client version that's being used or maybe it's even a fake.

I usually checked the new F2P's here and visited the provided link to go to the official site and to download the client. No more extra clicks, that's a really handy feature. AND spares me visiting the messy korean MMO sites |

Just glancing, I noticed WoW, CoX, LOTRO, DDO, EVE all have the download links. Truly mediocre games indeed. Thank you for your insight, it proved truly enlightening |

I think this is great. Well done to MMORPG.com! The next feature should be an 'apply to beta' button for non-release games :) |
