Yeah I suspect it could be for real. Don't like it.

There always tends to be some semblance of the whimsical in Asian games. This is horrible but it's also not to my taste.

The game looks so ridiculous and over the top that I really dont think having silly additions like these is going to make much of a difference to be honest.

We need to inject some satire and humor in MMOs. Dungeon Runners comes to mind with its satirical item names.

This is one of the monsters you kill for a quest If I remember right.  There are a few quests in game to kill a named/rare monster and you take their bodyparts as weapons/armor.  There is one you get early in the game that looks like a bear head.

All I keep seeing is the same screenshots on every site I find about it. I'm not saying all of them are photoshopped, but a few of the ones you posted, yes, they are.

It's just nice to see something to talk about other than Darkfall.

In my opinion this type of items are ridiculous. I hate when they appear in MMOs. But yay! is a matter of opinion anyway.

That's true, it finally seems to be calming down though, only 18 or so active threads now

i find these as a fun element added in the game. Heck i did play a few games that gave you wierd weps. Wow comes to mind, being able to use fish, broken beer bottles ect.

Adding humor to a game does make it much more appealing. You always wanna look cool but eventually you sometimes wanna look wierd.  That is what made wow fun also, just watching people dress up funny for a random occasion was welcoming.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a fantasy mmo since Blizzard introduced a wood motorcycle mount. 

The fork weapon I has seen in-game but not the rest. I think these are items you can buy from an NPC that will change the skin of your armor or weapon.  Most of the players (at least in korea) are not using them.

BTW: the Fork looks cool as hell on a Glad, but the rest

I am thinking that the "fork" is more of a trident weapon.  Hard to tell until you actually see it in action.
