I got 4 Char's on the test server now. Lvl 33 Spiritmaster, Lvl 32 Templar, Lvl 32 Scorc, and a newly made Lvl 25 Glad. High lvl aerial dog fights are fast and furious, Can't wait to get my new wings for my Glad (you can't transfer wing upgrades to your other char's via bank, so I got to buy it for each char). I'm having problems accessing the launcher/updater. I've downloaded the client (weighs in around 9 gigs) but I cant see any exe? Also, clicking on the PlayNC Launcher gives me some kind of error which I obviously don't understand. I have the eastern asian language pack installed on Vista, so Im not sure what the issue is.

Yeah, I don't see any exe files too and when I click on Aion icon it throws me to the Korean Aion official website. I see that there's PlayNC Launcher but it throws me to http://www.plaync.co.kr/ Where exactly do I see the executable file? Btw, I downloaded the client from http://www.3zoom.com/aion-client.html Thanks |

Ok the D/L come in the form of a zipped/packed files. Did you guys open the folder and click on the set-up icon ? Originally posted by Lowdos That is the PNC launcher (a program that adds all you NCsoft games in one area). Not needed for Aion. Open up the folder where the client downloaded and look for "setup launcher". un-pac the client into a different folder. then open the new folder and find the aion launch icon > copy to desktop. silent you have to log into the game through the korean aion site. sounds like you was in the same boat i was, took me awhile to figure it out. go there and you can tell where you need to log in at on the top left of the page then click the redish orange button, then once logged in click the big blue button. if you download the test server client there is a .exe file in there not sure why its in there and not in the retail. just downloaded the test server client the otehr day just installed tonite its updating atm. figured i'd try the test server since from what i've seen most of the english speakers play on the test server for some reason. the test server will install in a different file too so you won't lose the retail install if you change your mind and rather play the retail version of the game. |

Do you need to change any system settings to get the game to launch? I'm using Windows Vista and the retail client (on an active account) hangs at the ncsoft logo when I login. I have a powerful rig, so I not its not my specs that are the problem. Might give the test client a go in a couple of days to see if it works. |
