And when more copies become available will you be buying one? I thought Darkfall sucked and failed already? Oh, that's right, there's so many people trying to get their hands on the game it's ridiculous. So what will you say when more servers open up and more people get to buy the game? But seriously. Its good that they aren't taking your money and not letting you play. It could have been like every other MMO released in the last 5 years. Where you buy the game, can't play it for a couple of days for the same launch issues, then can't log in due to que times, finally get a chance to play and find out you didn't like it and scream fail. Would you rather this game be Morning or DnL? Oh wait... you guys are doing that anyways and haven't even played the game yet. seriously grow up.

Hell even when i was in WoWs release i never had ques just loot lag. But like i said earlier I didnt pick the high population servers. |

This game is so hardcore, they have to wait for all the current CC charges to go through before they can rent more servers to let the rest of the mouth-breathers in.
If this happened in any other industry the owners would be under arrest an in jail like every other Pyramid / Ponzi scheme. |

I don't think anyone who isn't a complete troll is comparing DF to DnL or Mourning.. but DF didn't release in a better, nor quite as good manner as most other MMOs. The extremely limited release alone might discourage many future customers depending on how long they wait to open a new server/allow more people to subscribe. If they don't allow more customers in a relative amount of time, and you put into account the usual amount of MMORPG jumpers who don't stick with most games longer then the first month, Aventurine may be setting themselves up for failure. But if they open up more servers, and allow more people in the next couple of weeks, they could cash in on the pregame hype and get a pretty nice customer base. MMORPG players are a fickle bunch, absolutely love a game one month, then "meh" the next, and I doubt DF won't have their fare share of those types. |

OK I'll calarify. Launch issues also include game breaking bugs. AoC, VG, WAR, and WoW (for some people not most) had game breaking bugs that rendered the game nearly unplayable; however, after the first week or month, most of these issues were fixed. These games still had full sales and jam packed servers. Are these games also scams? Don't you think DF would do the same thing if they could? And yes, I'm not saying the launch is on par with other games. However, aside from some pathing issues, first week hiccups, and billing (expected for international transactions) the game has been pretty smooth. That doesn't mean I'm excusing them for lack of mobs or macroing, but from the live streams I've seen there are enough mobs and macroing happens with all game that have grind.

Yeah, in beta.. ^^ Where 90% of the dupes are caught...! Since there isn't going to be a beta test, once the dupes are caught, their effects aren't wiped when the server resets for release, because.... Darkfall is already released..!!

You cannot buy it, not because it is too hardcore, but because it has not launched yet. They are in some sort of early access/paid beta scheme, with no announcement about an actual release date. It could be in one week, it could be in 3 months. Judging from Tasos and Aventurines poor communication skills, we will just have to wait and see. |

To me tbis game looks pretty ordinary. I do like the Morrowind style graphics though, rustic but great.. If it wasnt for the heavy PvP focus I would pay hard cash to try the game especially if it had a sandbox focus. Anyway, good luck to Adventurine for trying something different on a small budget. The game looks alot more fun than many AAA titles which says something. Please, please, please ..... Everquest 3 or a Morrowind MMO and i will be in MMORPG heavan.. |
