I know I was dumb but I just waited for this game for so long and believed all their hype. Now I see that Age of Conan cannot be fixed. It is what it is. A boring niche game for kids who like graphics, fatalities and boobies.
I appreciate the honesty of the OP'er. It's a tendency on any forum regarding Funcom to humiliate and silence any nay-sayers. This is not new, and it goes hand in hand with the companys total disregard for their ex-players who no longer shows total loyalty to the product and their marketing ideals. Let's hope potentially new (and old) costumers gets unbiased information about the state of the game; Funcom's previous deceits and lies and hyped up propaganda about new patches that "will solve everything".
Pray tell what unbiased info did you think was in the first post for this thread? Exactly.....absolutely zero, zilch, nada, etc. Just a totally crass non informative troll post of the kind we have come to expect on this forum. Seriously no one cares about your crusades against Funcom, stop living in the past and just move on. A 30 year old male programmer making a new account just to post this drivel is pathetic, just grow up and go play Darkfall or EvE (they seem to be the new flavs of the month). Gaming since 1985 and still going strong. |

So my opinion doesn't count because I have a life and don't spend my time posting crap on an internet forum? You may want to read the above sentence very carefully, specially the bit about posting crap, then go re-read your original post. Gaming since 1985 and still going strong. |

Try also to refrain from personal attacks against anyone who voices concern about the Funcom-aparatus. Trust me we can take it, but it really hurts your arguments....if you really have any arguments. I do that a lot. I'll get bored and decide to resub to a game I haven't played in a while and within an hour or two all of the reasons I quit the game will come flooding back to me and I'll uninstall it again. |

So my opinion doesn't count because I have a life and don't spend my time posting crap on an internet forum? You might have more posts than me but you know very little about AoC. You have a lvl 64 ToS? Wow. I have played since beta and I have 2 level 80 characters plus a couple of lvl 60+. That wall you talked about.. I've climbed over it many times. You are in no position to talk about what kind of game AoC really is because you have not seen anything past lvl 65. It takes a couple of days to reach that. You are a newbie in my books. Most people like the early levels but get bored once they reach endgame. Why do you think people who say AoC is amazing, always have only low level characters? I call BS on the highlighted sentence. If you have been playing since beta, then you wouldn't have actually unsubbed from the game then. Therefore, you couldn't have "resubbed" if you've never unsubbed. Thus, your "resubbed 1 hour played then uninstalled" post is a complete lie. Either that, or your lying here with that phrase? Which is it: Lying about "resubbing" or lying about "playing since beta"? I guess it really doesn't matter, as your credibility just became zero due to you lying either way. |
