That's not true. If you look on the side of any SOE product box it specifically states that the gameplay experience is subject to change. Although i agree with you that it's BS :P oh and a certain guy whos last name starts with S and ends with Y can die in a fire for all i care. |

Sorry, early in the morning, coffee is still brewing. But, ya, double billed, way after the fact. They sent me a lovely invoice though.

Honestly i feel sorry for nobody that purchased this game an now regrets it. It's not like this forum was a ringing endorsement for the game or the company. You didn't listen and now you regret it. WAH LOL. If you're enjoying the game cool but those who are whining about it now have no leg to stand on. |

I sure havent spent my time trolling you guys since launch. That is neither here nor there...the point in question is "what is a scam". DF is selling their game with information found on their web site that is totally offbase for their actual game. Things that have been cut, and not going to reappear are being displayed as of yet. I cant give details, but there is a thread that gives all that information, down to the detail, if you look on this first page of this forum(dont think it was this thread). It goes thru all the features showing what is in, and what isnt. A substantial list of key items are missing from the implementation of game. So like I said...it is classic definition of a scam. The very epitome according to webster. The only reason I commented in thread is cause so many folks are using their own definition of "scam" vs what one in actuality is. Including yourself. Now spare us the hung over excuse, as you spoke when you shouldnt of. You wanna argue with someone, then take it up with Webster and the English language. Sheesh Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the game itself. I saw the warnings and wanted to see for myself anyway. The initial costs associated with trying the game do not bother me at all nor does the experience. I knew full well the risk I was taking. Fraudulent credit card charges weren't expected though.

Yeah.. explain to the bank. "yeah i gave my money to this company. Of course i had to click on their store page 50,000 times over the period of a month just to buy it. This was actually after 8 years of people telling me this game was being made by and indy company and might be vaporware. I really wasn't expecting any difficulty after that! You know store websites are the hardest part of MMO development and all. SO YES i was completely SURPRISED by the fact that the simplest features such as server queues and billing were so messed up!" |

Ok read some of it. Yeah i'm sure it's AV's intent to get people to buy the game.. Since in reality it's almost impossible to actually do so. Maybe they just haven't had time to update their site. Oh and actually i'm hungover yet still a little drunk.. i hate that.. i think i might just start drinking again.. it is 6am now LOL i love vacations! |

Originally posted by Copeland I listened. I listened to you try to explain away how you screwed up. Toe jam tasting good this morning? Looks like you got a nice bite of it having stuck your foot in your mouth like ya did. You got something else to say? I didnt think so. Know what you are talking about before opening the yap next time, and there wont be a problem. And to the person wanting a citation...I gave the exact definition earlier in thread. If you wanna look it up yourself then http://www.m-w.com/ is your animal. Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |

Anyway i'm out. It's not a scam. It's poorly run company that launched a poorly developed mmo and they had no prior experience with either running a company or producing a game. Honestly most of us are just amazed they actually got to this point. There's no defense for stupid. You either are or you aren't. Being stupid and expecting someone to care that you were that stupid doesn't mean that we have to care. Actually it probably means we'll be laughing our asses off at you as you cry WAH it's a SCAM! |

Seriously man you have issues. Arguing over a horrible game on the internet with a drunk guy who's just amazed that anyone with half a brain cell would purchase this game in the first place. |

To think you have the audacity to call others "stupid". heh "Hopeless" should be your forum handle methinks. You can lead a horse to water so to speak.... Anyways like I indicated...athough the OP was technically correct, it was an obvious troll post. I have no clue which way your game is going to go DFers. For your sakes, I hope it does well. But until Tacos removes that web page he is scamming folks into playing his game. The web site should be offering facts...not things that have been removed, and have no chance of ever being included as it has been stated on forums otherwise. It may indeed be a technicality...but it is what it is...and that is scamming folks. Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |

Darkfall is not a scam because I'm enjoying the game because its the best game evar, so its not a scam. Every single other MMO has had all the same exact launch problems as Darkfall and most were even worse so stop whining, LOL at ignorant WoW players. I actually did "research" on the game before buying it, LOL at anyone who did not do "research" on a game before buying it, instead of foolishly just looking at the official website and reading its FAQ or stupidly reading any of the last 8 years of official information released by the developers about Darkfall and thinking even half of all those features and content would actually be implemented. LOL at all the jealous haters and blizzard employees who come to this forum to troll and lie about this wonderful awesome hardcore adrenaline rush game that's such a threat to their care bare games. Pathetic that all the no lifers come here to criticise this game all day, all the successful, intelligent, rational and objective common sense fans of this game who actually have life's are forced to spend their valuable time correcting all the lies and misinformation instead of playing this incredible next generation revolutionary advanced ground breaking game when the server is up or doing any of the other things successful, intelligent rational and objective common sense fans of this game do when they are not playing this game when the server is up or defending it on internet forums from the WoW playing troll haters and their lies. Aventurine are a small independent game developer working hard every day to bring us the best game ever for a premium price plus the industry standard monthly subscription cost , LOL at anyone who was expecting unnecessary things from care bare game developers like professionalism, competence, community relations and customer/technical support. Its not a scam because i like it. |

"I said I'm going to get extra meat this time. But he didn't even put extra shrimp in there," the woman told a 911 dispatcher. "I asked him, 'Can I get any extra shrimp, or can you give my money back?' And he started hollering. So I just said, 'I'm going to call the police.'" |

"It's pretty good, I'm not gonna lie," Alfredo Martinez said. When asked how much shrimp he usually gets in his fried rice Martinez replied, "I don't really count it, but a pretty good amount." |
