This is a non debatable fact. This game IS a scam / rip off.

Why?

Because they launched it FULLY KNOWING what state it was in. Fully knowing how untested and buggy it was.

They accepted a limited amount of orders for no other reason than to raise money for development.

Darkfall Online is a SCAM.

Umm no they fully delivered the producted I bought. I knew what it was and I still wanted it.

 Obvious SCAM is obvious.

The only time its a scam is when they bugger off with the cash like Dark and Light etc. did without giving any refunds or shutting down the game and THEN buggering off, they have done niether.

Darkfall Online is not a scam yet, its very real they are just being idiots about the release, you guys lose more and more credibility the more you spout this kind of crap.

The amusing thing is I don't see you saying the same kind of stuff towards games like Age of Conan or companies like SOE who would pretty much qualify completely as scam artists.

People tend to say so, but we havent seen any proof yet. Just some class/level grind with some static mobs. Not a real MMORPG.

Probably they released because the had no other option. They needed the money from preordes. Period.

Scam

1. deprive of by deceit; "He swindled me out of my inheritance"; "She defrauded the customers who trusted her"; "the cashier gypped me when he gave me too little change"

Darkfall was knowingly launched in an untested bugged state. Therefor anyone who ordered was gypped (scammed) by the producers of the software for something hey chose to take money for when the knew it was not in a pay to play state.

Buggy and unfinished eh? They fixed the big sync issue, worked their ass off for that. It now works perfectly. Server doesn't lag at all, very good ping, sync is pretty much perfect.

Only gamebreaking bugs are some of the mobs, that are exploitable. I understand if people get pissed about that, but you need to realize, that it is much harder to do nonexploitable mobs in game like Darkfall, FPS combat, no targeting game. In WoW for example, mobs just go evade mode and run back if you try to exploit them by not getting hit by them. That's the easy solution, and I hope Darkfall won't go that way.

But yea, please don't buy Darkfall OP, we don't want you there anyway :) Most of the players are having fun, and that's the main part of gaming.
