Me and my guild mate went exploring to Cairn to see if the citys were took already, there were afk macroers at these mobs called orc asassins and orc maulers, the mobs didn't attack back n just stood still. About a minute after the monster died it would respawn in the same place again.
All the macroers did is just set up a click and rest program, we managed to kill one of them, the sync issues were nearly impossible to kill any player. They respawned at the chaos stone near the orc spawn and just started trying to hit thin air over n over again then rest. Then for sure we knew they were afk. Then one assigned member of there guild would go around looting the corpses who were not afk, but with the sync issues he was just impossible to kill. These mobs were dropping 125 gold APC 40 - 50 skill weps like great sword / 1 hand swrd / bows and nice shields.
The afkers just had leaf blades and were killig them quite fast tbh.
Then i thought how long have they been doing this etc, I was reading in race alliance there were also other exploitable monsters, which guilds were fighting over which drop plate and 50+ rank weps.
Wipe? Yes. (Do not ask me for the guild name)

I'd be surprised, but it's something they should do.
Not only were the mobs bugged, but a lot of people that paid to play, couldn't. In a competitive PvP game this simply isn't acceptable, especially at launch with the rush for city spots. |

Im all for it, just doubt they will do it. And even on release its so hard for them to notify us when the server goes down and for what etc |

It's not really a problem. All this means is that some guilds will have abit of a headstart, it's not big deal to be honest really, the game will even out in a few weeks.

There should be a report finction for exploits ingame? no?
report them, watched them get banzored and tehn all their goodies taken off them hehe I dislike exploiters and AFK botters like this,

I've been playing since the servers came up finally...I hope they do wipe. Guilds of 3-4 people were able to farm up 12,000g in no time using the duping exploit and killing the bugged mob spawns. The sync issues made it nearly impossible to kill any mobs so you had to ninja loot the corpse after the 10 minutes it took to kill one goblin. It's the only logical step they can take at this point. Banning that many people would be a little much. I'd sack the 16 hours I got to play for a universal reset. I don't care about losing my progress. It took me 16 hours to do what I could in 3 in beta. In regards to the afk macroers....it was hilarious jumping in front of them, flagging myself grey, and then either letting them die to the guard towers or gank them. I got so many hate tells and loved every minute of it. |

City would have been up sooner if you got your money from key drops before the sync issues came about. |

I agree. My guild did not catch onto the finding the high level bugged mobs for a few hours. . . but we were still able to accomplish our inital launch goals. It was a joke how easy it was to exploit the high level mobs. They should wipe and restart, but I doubt they will. In the long run, it won't make too much of a difference. |

I am aware of mobs going "wtf" mode when you bug their line of sight by standing below them in some places, especially near water... For example when you pull some mobs on to a dock, and then jump into the water and hug the dock. This happened from day one that I was in beta, but I didn't find many places with such terrain advantages. Are these mobs standing in an open place or sort of like I mentioned above? If it's the first then it might be related to the extreme desync issues that are appearing in the release version. |

Assuming the OP is all true..... The sync issues wouldn't have kept you from killing any afk macro. Players were very easy to kill if they weren't moving around. You'd have to be totally inept or not even try if you couldn't kill them. As far as the looter, he too has to stop to loot corpses. In fact, you could have been looting those corpses if you wanted to. Somehow my clan managed to farm all the gold needed for a city on mobs that were mostly invisible while also defending against many invisible players. These mobs weren't bugged in place nor were they high level. We just had goals we wanted to achieve and instead of quitting out of frustration, we adapted to the extreme difficulties and got er done. As far as duping. I don't believe it. There was a patch in beta that created a duping loophole but it was found and reported by a player and immediately addressed. Even with that bug, only one resource that I know of was able to be duped and items and gold couldn't be duped using that bug. No wipe, everyone was on equal footing. Some may have been lucky enough to find easy bugged mobs but those mobs were available to everyone equally the same. No need to penalize the many to target the few. The devs are able to look at the logs and see what all happened yesterday and its probably one reason for the long delay of bringing the servers back up. Hopefully if they do find some gross allegations of hacks or cheats (not exploited mobs) that they will reverse those gains for thejust those partys involved. |

What is the point of having city plots, and having players fight over cities? What is the point of having gold as a currency? or require players to gather raw materials? The economy and competition on the server has already been ruined. A honest player will take months to catch up to what has already been exploited NOW.. and by that time, the exploiting guilds will be even further ahead. |
