Hey all i have been trying to get the new patch as a few of my guildies have and i am getting Account is not active (#3) even thou i played and have a Char for several hours yesterday ... anyone else experiencing this?

same here, dunno whats up. 

"Known issue", apparently. It's getting pretty fucked up with the accounts over there.

hope they fix this ... this is worse then the sync issues if people that paid and have been charged in full cant even log in

Its no worse then people who preordered payed and still could not get in to being with not much we can do but wait and see what information they give us via the different channels they have IRC, Forums or Mail.

Did you receive an email stating payment accepted?

has you CC been billed for the payment?

It could be that you have received the email but ben charged 0 for the game and this is down to an issue with the CC details, as a result instead of allowing free access to non-payers teh account is blocked until the payment details are resolved

for example some people put detaisl in and found they couldnt get the country to work, so they selected a random country, obviously the CC is not registered for said country and is refused by the bank, just double check payment details

 It seems to be taking darkfall a very long time to actually take the money from your account as well.  For both the pre-order charge and the game charge I recived an email and a pending charge almost instantly.  However, after 24 hours of pending the charge is removed from my bank account and the money added back onto my balance.  I called the bank to ask about this and they told me as long as it is "pending" it means the bank has accepted darkfall as credible and will give them the money (darkfall just has to *take* the money).

Edit: they finally took the 3$ for pre-order (after 4 days).  I assume the game charge will be next - maybe next Monday or Tuesday.

servers are up and still not active

and i am charged in full and was playing for HOURS yesterday ...

 they have take my cash and cant login too , say account inactive

Maybe its so simple that the only reason is that the server is down:!

becouse they are fixing whatever the  issue is so all you people can play.

no because you can log in and patch ... however those of us with this problem can not log in to patch or check if servers are up

i got the same problem that everybody else got, but i know things are getting forward for example the servers are up for those who have an active acount.

no i have not played those games im a old uo player,

and yea i saw the server went down fast again and im sure it wasent becouse they tryed to piss more people off lol
