Why all the hate, it's just a game, and I can't even imagine how stressed they are at AV right now. I bet it's a madhouse. Anyways, who cares if it launches yesterday or today, who cares if the serves go down, they'll be up, why create all this drama?

Seriously take a chill pill, go outside, get a slice of pizza, go make some food, or read the news. This isn't like Russia just decided to invade China important.

I find it hilarious, any person not smart enough to realize that Darkfall was going to be anything but a disaster at launch deserves what they got. You called us trolls, but we were right all along. Preorder? Blatant idiocy.

yes, they had a VERY bad launch, but they gave everyone who preordered the game 3 FREE days, so why are you bitching?

It shows you the true nature of trolls. Look at them froath at the mouth because of a problematic launch. I wonder if these simple minded trolls where there when WOW launched and had tons of issues saying "SEE I TOLD YOU SO PAY ME MY 100 BUCKS BECAUSE THIS GAME FAILED AND THEY WILL NEVER FIX IT!!!"

I wasn't around for the launch of WoW but I would be very surprised if it was anything like this. If anyone was around for it, please feel free to fill me in on the similarities.

I was hoping that the launch would be pretty much painless. But it looks like AV may bleed-out.

Looks like waiting for a NA launch will indeed be a test of patience.

Well to be fair, the game could have been ready, but the infurstructure supporting the game obviously was not ready.  Game software and server software/hardware are different.

I do agree with you on that topic. Tasos is overly confident in his dev team for the rep they now have. However this still doesnt mean DF failed in any way, just the same ol same ol bad lunach on MMOs have. So why is everyone crying about it so much? This is no victory of loss for anyone, just a bad launch as usual with mmo's

- I was there, it wasn't like this but it wasn't great either. Server queues were common, the client had bugs, and there were even occasional server crashes, and this was from a company that had years of experience with battle net. Thing is, to varying degrees it always happens.

And hell, UO shards (servers) were still buggy in 2000.

Best thing to do, just chill....

I like how these self-proclaimed trolls are changing the story.  First it was Darkfall is vaporware and isn't real and we all got our money stolen.  Then once they have problems with launch, you simply say "we told you they were going to have a bad launch."  Newsflash, no you fucking didn't.
