It is a server side problem

A friend of mine deleted the «non existant character» and it worked !!!!!

It doesn't work for me but you can try it :

Yeah, it was very unfortunate, but none of the 20 beta testers that were in the game played a human, so this error was undiscovered at launch.   Apparently the bots that AV created were able to make human characters just fine, so they didn't think there would be a problem at launch.

And to the people sending in your error reports.. lol... do you really think there is anyone there to read them.  The entire staff is probably busy running credit card numbers through a machine by hand.

 The issue here isnt only about humans some of us cant even see the character creation page here...

Note: The first thing i tried when i saw the situation was to try and delete the new character and was also stuck :)

You are talking about two different problems and they are both something Aventurine has known about. The first issue has to deal with too many people in a given area and you loose connection... but then THAT character becomes bugged and basically unusable until the server resets.

The second issue is dealing with the actually login server lagging during start up and you're getting an errant handshake from their game server, which your client doesn't like, etc..!

They will BOTH go away when the servers are less populated!

When do you seriously see the servers being less populated during a LAUNCH WEEK????

AV should fix the issue.

Me an my mate tried doing this, we both ended up in a crash cycle back to NDA screen , so this is really not recommended. Ingame, we crashed at the exact same place and time while running north out of the Human starting area, which is something i'm hearing from other friends and guildies have happend to them aswell.

Well, if you havn't figured it out, wherever you log out, you do NOT log back in at the same spat, but all the way back to your bindstone.

So, even if you are out with some buddies and one of you crashes, there goes the group! It's another reason the started areas are so congested, because once the servers come back up EVERYONE is again back in the same area... stupid!

I was one of the 1st people who tried to enter to game when the servers came up this morning yet i wasnt able to see the character creation screen and trust me there were not that many ppl who were trying... It has nothing to the with the load on server its the client that has a problem needs fixing ...

I want to strongly urge everyone to use the ErrorReport once again for the issues they are having it is imperative that we make sure they understand its not just "couple of guys" that has this problem anymore like in beta ,this is searious :@

Same problem, human character can't be used anymore. Client crashes after login, but I won't delete char otherwise my name can't be used anymore.

Error report has been sent, but I think right now they have too many problems which needed to be solved. 

This problem has been there since the game got released, I chose another location then default to spawn and i never got in with my human, i refuse to delete him since i want to play that name. Just hope they will fix it, since they didnt talk about this big problem.

 Well, similar prob here.

Black sreen when the game starts up, almost locks up my system completely.

Drivers uninstalled, reinstalled, newest DX9 distro and installed C distro with Darkfall. No dice.

My specs are far better than the requirements.

If anyone has any suggestions, please throw em our way.

I assure you this is something that is affecting a somewhat decent amount of people. But its not large enough for Aventurine to make a fix right away, if at all. Hell, The way Aventurine has been addressing problems from the client side, i'm better off just building a new gaming system.

This problem is happening since the beta and still not fixed. The beta tester who had the problem says he didnt even get any words about a "looking into" the problem from developers even tough he mailed and made topics about it.

I don't think it's a driver issue; it sounds more along the lines of a working directory/installation issue. If I were you I'd copy and paste my java files into the directory of the game or any other classes that it included with the installation.

I will try it thnx a lot but those classes that it tries to access but cant are %90 inside the archive data files in darkfall directory meaning it wont change it. And having the same problem both on my desktop and laptop and i have reinstalled java etc several times

My problem has nothing to do with human areas since i havent seen the character creation screen yet to even try a human(which i will not since i will be playing Alfar...) dont just read couple of posts and post here read it all or dont bother.

Same here Darkwish, it crashed for me when I hit PLAY.

This is mine:

"Initializing game logic" and moments after that window disappears game crashes, then crash report app and nda query comes up. Yes I could create character just fine but can't get into the game itself. I also was in the beta and game worked fine then, sent a support e-mail and also one from the account page.

Patching seems to complete fine and also I have received the 1035 client patch.

Tried so far:

- Reinstalled game two times from the torrent download (official one)
