Since there is alot of tension going around . I would like to create a topic on a few things.

the 1st one is What defines a Indie Company?

I wanna see what everyone here belives what makes a company earn the "Indie" title.  Dont spend time researching it, just what you think what it is without doing the reaserch. then edit your post after the reaserch you did without eliminating what you 1st thought it was.

The 2nd topic ill bring up is for Darkfall gamers. Trolls I ask you to please stay out. There are many people , me included who have our doubts and want some clarifications. Also i would would prefer that those extreme fanboys to not barf the same damn babble that the game is perfect.

 That said lets talk about Universal Banking. This was on how i see it recently implemented. it does seem that long ago in beta banks were local. The universal part is whats turning my intrest off on this game but it seems i am not the only one. Why turning me off.?

The fact that players can stash their loot. travel afar and find a bank and equip their loot back. This completely eliminates the risk factor other than dying. this destroys part of the sandbox play as those who want to be the "Pirates" or the "evil" players will lose intrest killing just nude people and get nothing in return for their efforts of blockading a mountian pass or a pathway to a far away city ect.

What are your opinions on it. Does thise Universal banking carebearizes the game? Or do you see it as an awsome features. I just want your opinions on it as i displayed mines.

It's a games company that isn't bankrolled by a publisher.

I think only gold should be universally banked.

     It does take alot out of the sandbox feel having global banks..  The thought of caravans racing to their next town to unload their wares was really interesting..  But i guess they had to do something for the carbears.. that is one of the most exciting aspects about darkfall was the caravan raiding.  Making  trade skills and trading  actually mean something..  I also heard  some items can only be harvested in certian areas, well thats makes it to easy to get now.  All in all it takes alot away from the game  but it also takes alot of time out of running back to the bank for your armor.. then you get there and its the wrong bank:(( In a massive world prowling with pvp back to the same bank might make you stay in one area.  Or fight naked...I mean tits are nice with your  pvp, but not orc tits.. lol

i dont consider this what you posted as a troll post your not saying the game is fail ect.  you do bring valid points on having to run back to a bank. however making gold universal like the other poster said will give the player the ability to get somthing on him/her.

But thats what makes it interesting. Like in eve i lost a ship in a big battle in 0.0 space. but my other ship was stashed in an area that is being blockaded by pirates. This is where risk vs reward pops in. I can attempt to bypass the blockade in somthing not worthy of destroying, but the risk stays as i must exit thru that same place if i do get my other ship and goods. I still have the risk of being destroyed before i can make it back where the battle takes place. Thats what made eve so much fun.

XD good point but an Opinion from anyone doesnt hurt as long as they are not bashing the crap out of the game. Im speaking of a feature and how it can affect the gameplay. Prob some bashers may contribue more than what we think (look at the above post)
