As we all know Requiem had a good amount of players a few months ago. Recently though with the release of the new Runes of Magic mmorpg, and the growing popularity of Perfect world International and Atlantica online a lot of requiem's players have left the game. About half of my guild now plays both Requiem and Runes of magic (including myself) and most of us actually play RoM a lot longer than we play Requiem now. Some of us who used to be premium subscribers (15 dollar/mo pack) are now only spending 10 dollar/mo and some only play free now. Ill admit The new good F2P mmorpgs has taken a lot of players away from Requiem however I still see there is plenty of players to enjoy the game with. I am willing to guess there is at least  a total of 8,000-11,000 active requiem players. (By active players I mean actual players who log in at least once a week, not bots not gold sellers or any RMT)

I belive the number is more close to 10,000 for the entire game (All 3 servers)  I think the numbers were close to 13,000 before Runes of Magic and Atlantica made a big splash in the F2P market.

This is just a observatory estimate. I dont have any real numbers but if I had to go out on a limb and guess that would be my guess. What would you guys guess?

Remember I dont mean how many accounts I mean how many players do you honestly think there are active in the game.

Considering the population you encounter across all the maps.  I would peg the population around 1~3k.  If you are taking into consideration all 3 servers.  It isn't high, and it probably would be worse if it was high because it would have a bad reputation that follows it.  Until the game meets a certain level of quality having it low might actually be a good thing.

So far I can look around and never see less then three players in my field of view at level 20.

Yesterday questing I actually had to wait for people to clear out so I can finish a quest.

Im on the lone Pvp server

I'll second that...On the PvP server I have had to leave the Mysterions Tower area (or whatever it is called) and come back several times as there are always people questing there.

No biggy though, lot's of other places to quest.
