Not worth a fee YET, for you.

That is the thing, people have different wants and taste. For example, I got drawn in to playing WAR by a few real life buddies. I had an ok time, I didn't mind the casual nature of the game but it just didn't click with me in the long run. I got in to the DF beta and never even touched WAR again and cancled my account within a week.

I was never a DF fanboy. I am however one of the long term followers, I stumbled upon the game in 2002 but by 2006 I believed the game was vapour and never going to see the light of day. As the last few months rolled around and the game began to materalize I again took notice and by beta it exceeded my relatively low expectations by a considerable amount.

I have pre-ordered without reserve and as long as server stability is not a problem any "unfinnished content" doesn't make the game unworthy of a fee, not when every single MMO I have ever played was a work in progress.

In the end it's ironic, both the fanboys and the vapourtrolls are right, just in there own limited context.

I laugh though, the game is great and kicks ass, if you don't like it go back to WoW. Thats my limited opinion.

 Ok so how many testers were there? I'll except your statement the vast majority of testers want to preorder it. (though as far as facts I think all you have is a poll from less then 400 players done almost a month ago right?)  I will add the vast majority of the testers were pretty much hand picked by Aventurine and last I heard (speculation from the most part) was they did not get up to 10K testers. In other words the testers are not a good sampling of random players IMO, Nor a large number to base weither the game is truelly good off of. (and yes i know because i don't simply believe the game is good because you and some other fans say so im a vaporwarez troll right?)

Since the games not truely released yet I'd wait a bit before proclaiming the games good. Niether am i saying the games bad. (I never have.) End point we probably really won't know if the games good or bad for another 3-6 months.

  All games have some trouble out the door, I have no doubt DF will have some issues in its first few weeks. that will not mean the games bad. We'll have to see how it is after the first month.

 Like wise Almost all players (IMO) go into new games with rose colored glasses. Games are extremely cool when they are new and we're esploring and learning the ropes etc. the quest is after the newness wears off how good is the game. Once again not something that can (IMO) be sumed up in beta or the first 2-3 weeks of launch.   

  Don't worry if Df is a major success in the next 2-3 months i'll still be here for  for you to rub it in and you can tell me how right you were and how the DF fans were never wrong about anything etc etc etc.    (Which IMHO seems to be the main point / motivation of your thread here right?)

Never compare EVE and Darkfall...there are a worlds of difference on how each is handling their community and game.

 Humm so Darthraiden, Originalegg and many many other Fans of Darkfall are trolls? You know you might actually have some credability if you didn't lie as much. Its not that far of a search to find fans stating Darkfall would have numbers equal to or surpasing WAR, AoC, etc.

  Funny how the more you post the less and less fact / truth your posts contain.

 Edit: BTW Eve has what 350K subs? DF has a ways to go yet i'd say. In a preivous post you stated somehow Aventurine would do fine if they got Eve like numbers on 2-3 servers. 350K subs on 2-3 10k max servers seems pretty silly. At the time I just assumed you had no idea how many subs Eve had

They have put in multiple patches over the last 48 hours and hopefully are making sure they have a smooth launch.  I think the staggered release is a good idea to ensure a smooth launch.  After waiting so long, its worth it to wait a little longer to ensure a smooth release (i got my preorder in along with most of my guild).

I am happy to be one of the tens of thousands of gamers wanting to play this "vaporware lol scam" tomorrow and the niche market it is targeting couldnt be happier.

By far the best game i ever played.

Never seen such a dedicated staff.
