“The things you own end up owning you.” -Tyler Durden |
well today in my new corp (great bunch) i joined up with a small gang and sat around in a system and waited for one of the people scanning to pick a ship up. We missed a ferox at a plex, waited for a lil bit and he came back and we "pointed" him. Got him down to structure and ransomed his ship for 15mil. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. And it sure as hell beats mission running. Also it was my first real pvp action, and 2nd gang. The first time i was in a small gang we couldn't find anything, but this time we got lucky EDIT: nevermind i found some guides |

Beats mission running how exactly?:P Instead of doing a missions and getting money you just wait for lone targets to fly by and gank them:) Same sith different name if you ask me:P But kudos from me that you honor ransoms. I pod pirates or torment them by holding hostage their pod because I hate it when they don't honor their ransoms, makes life more difficult for the rest of us that try to make a living by itXD |

i perfer pvp then pve (missions), although if i did missions with a group of people i could see it being fun as well. And yes i do/will honor ransoms, that is something i wanted in a corp when i looked for one. There is absolutely no excuse or reason why a pirate shouldnt honor a ransom. |

I even had "ethical battles" with myself in FO3 (when going the bad path)-lol. Although I could totally be up for being a pirate hunter--Now that sounds like a blast.!!!! |

And this shows you have never even meet a pirate. You cant torment a pirate by holding their pod hostage, as every single real pirate in the game knows he must spam warp all the way through structure to instant warp. Only way to killa real pirate pod is with smartbombs, which isnt a carebear weapons as you *gosh* might hit something and get criminal flagged. |

Congrats on a first ransom. Although in game I do not approve of pirating, on occasion it is a welcome distraction for our corp when the lull in the front lines (Im in GBC...pew pewing in Delve atm vs the goonies) starts eating away at me. |

Just don't ask a 20M ransom for someone in a velator :/
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention. |

There are no "Real pirates" in high sec friend. Just little kids that try to bait new players in flaggin themselves or try to wardeck mining corps. The "trick" you are telling is good and I know it already. :) But I don't solo hunt that's your misconception. So please kindly take your attitude and shove it, because if you believe that pirates don't get podded maybe you are the one that spends too much time in high sec. |

Erm what the heck are you talking about? Operates how? Last I checked concord doesn't come and you can only be attacked by the gate guns. When you try to make a point, make a full sentence please so it will make some sense for me to respond. |

You'll find that the only person talking about concord and gate guns is you. Everyone else is talking about pod insta-warping, which works just the same in high and low sec in case you missed it when Nicoli said it. Now, care to try that one again? |

"Only way to killa real pirate pod is with smartbombs, which isnt a carebear weapons as you *gosh* might hit something and get criminal flagged." You tell me what you get from that. Did I say insta warp can't be done? Do you believe it can't be over come if you actively hunt someone and not just prowling? Maybe "real pirates" need a guide on how to do it? Or maybe this sentence is a whole bunch of bull from someone that wants to stroke his epeen? I mentioned concord and gate guns because that's about it on what a "carebear" cares (now why a carebear would spend too much time in low sec is beyond me unless he found that good ways to make money, but I am sure "real pirates" will think something) It's quite funny that "real pirates" seem like know it alls. More fun for me I guess.

Okay, you win! I have absolutely NO CLUE what you are trying to get across.
Let this be a lesson to all who may follow. If you load a post with enough disconnecteed BS you too can win arguments.
Fly safe. |

I dunno....no one can catch my pod in empire space....unless:
1- I am lagged 2- my pod gets smartbombed
To the OP: Welcome to the world of piracy, may your Yarr be strong! |

If there was no lag or freeze or the player didn't fuck up you will NOT catch that pod. Point 2: Insta warp raises a lot the chances to get away, it doesn't make it fool proof Look above. Point 3: Noone should assume what the other person has or hasn't done. Umm, ok.
