The phenomenon cannot set the standard, simply alter the perception of limitation. |
It appears as though several servers have the bonus periods evoked for the sake of raising the populations. This is in my opinion not a bad idea, but I don't feel it addresses the glaring issue at hand. The subscriptions are being spread over a vast number of servers, though now they tend to hide quite a few of them off tab. Allowing a bonus for so many low population servers at one time really seems to be doing more damage to the already well rounded servers by displacing numbers over the droves of under nourished ones. I am not attacking the subscription numbers, 300k is a decent amount. I simply think they are perhaps doing their customers a disservice by spreading the population out so much that it is hard to get scenarios and open rvr for any extended amount of time. Thoughts?

This has been brought up often. I tend to agree. I can't be bothered to look it up, but it may boil down to some interview that Mark Jacobs did on some MTV awards show that stated that if they are closing/ merging servers, then WAR is not doing well. He said that before WAR launched I think. What would it look like if they started closing servers now, hmmm? He painted himself into a corner.
