I just posted this post in their forum and it got deleted after around 30 sec of being posted. I already wondered why I didn't read much bad feedback on their forums, but now I know why. They have moderators who instantly remove all really bad posts - and they need to do so in order to get their preorders together... I am sorry to tell you guys but I played this game in Beta and its a shame to release something in that shape and you can be 100% that this game will not succeed in the long run, except for some die hard fans who don't care anything about animation or quality... -------------- OMG how in the world can you released this game yet... the game is not only in a very bad condition interface/control wise (its really horrible for newcomers) and also the animations and char customisation is really worse. I mean surely people who dont care about graphic may play it anyway but what I realized during the beta is that this games comes nowwhere near the hype. As far as I loved UO and skill based sandbox games, I can't play DF in the current state, its just not feasable... so yeah you have another guy less in the queue... but I will include most people who havent played yet there too. Now that you made finally the game into a ALPHA (maybe beginning BETA) condition why throw it on the market and why not waiting to really finish it? Now that all thought it is vaporware anyway why rush it out now? Sorry but this game in its current state is only for diehard people who dont care a bit about character quality or animations... Well but its basically all you can say... I am not the one who usually judges fast without arguments... but where shall I start... Just remember some games like Horizons or Mourning? First you enter the world, the chars looks horrible in my eyes... and to get into the control and really bad interface you need another afford - No usual FPS control where you can do the VERY basic controls easily (just wait and see yourselve). So for me every immersion was lost because it looks so half finished I really can't comment, try it yourselve and you instantly know what I mean. And the fact that they instantly delete bad criticsm on their forum - I was alraedy like WHAT no really bad posts there, that IS NOT possible after the lift of the NDA - but now I know why... and thats really a bad way to try to get out their preorders... I wish them good luck though, they will need it. Currently playing: Tera |

I'm not sure if you are correct about the moderators removing all negative posts, look at these two on the front page, pretty damning stuff, and not locked or deleted. |

Well for this game those posts are nowhere near as bad as the game itselve... but deleting my post after 30 secs of posting... just told me what this hype now is about... Just try the game out yourselve and be fast guys... because if you dont preorder now, you may have to wait a few days till they extend their capacity (ridiculous)... really this strategy is laughable at its best... Did you read all of the beta tester feedback in those threads?, please explain how their impressions of the game could be any worse or more of a disappointment to people who believed the hype coming from Tasos and Co over the last 6 years. Problem is we can't try the game out for ourselves, we have to preorder it for 50 euros, so please do explain why you think this game is not ready for release so you can help people make an informed purchase decision. |

Well then try it out yourselve and sadly you have to give them 50€ for that... :( ! But after you tried it come back here and maybe you will find a better way to describe this game... - all I can say is the whole game feels like crap - I can't even back this up - I can only say it was bugged, the controls was horrid, the interaction with the world or enemies was a mess too... I don't know where to begin really... Sorry I may sound rude... but if you know my other posts I am not someone who judges another game and trashs it in any way - its basically just the way on how they try now to get their subscriptions and the way on how fast they suddenly want to release this... Did'nt you read the poll over at beta forum where 95% of the beta testers will continue to play Darkfall on release? That's not a failure. That's amazing. Myself and all the rest of my clan is really looking forward to play Darkfall on release and we sure enjoyed our beta immensely. Havent played a beta as stable as Darkfalls, didnt crash once. Graphics is if you ask me very nice. Animations is more then tolerable. Gameplay is superior to any other MMO out there. I see you're waiting for Aion, well that says it all. You're just another carebear that want Darkfall to fail cause it's not a game of your taste.

Yes it is good to know that we now have another sh*ty griefy grindy exploity "sandbox" game that we can all pre order for 50 Euros soon that we might be able to play on the 25th instead. |

Its hard to pick out, and that is why ur "post" was deleted. Ur intentions MIGHT have been to help the game improve, but it certainly doesnt look that way.

So i was in beta. You're opinions is of someone that read other previews and decised to make one yourself. Didnt you read the poll over at beta forum where 95% of the beta testers will buy the game and play it on release? Thats not a failure for any game in beta, thats a huge success.
