Maybe you didn't hear but half that stuff you just listed isn't making it in the game. Like we have been saying for years the feature list is so long they couldn't even make it all in. It all sounds good on paper but there is no substance from that. It's like taking a blueprint of a house and nailing up only 3 walls.

Whats not in it?  It's got resources, it's got player made factions, it's got gear, it's got guild cities that can be captured, it's got player characters.  Core game is there, and looks looks like a lot of fun to me. 
I don't care if features have been cut, I want a fun game not fluff.

Is this a joke?  I think it is time to cross Darkfall off the list of upcoming MMOs.  This one is going to be a complete loser.  That was the worse MMO video I have ever seen.

Did he predict the end of the world in 2012 also?

I think they let this video out, to get less people interested at launch.  So  they can have enough room for the fanbois on there server<-- 1........Then if its a decent game, word of mouth will bring more people in.. Wich by then they will have the fanboi money for more servers<--2+.......Just a theory

Nah that was the Mayan's though the end of the world is only contributed to that date by the modern human race. Really it is just a date their gods were to show up.

Needless to say for an old civilization to make a calender we still use today and the cut off date 2012 something is bound to happen.

Graphics are dated, animations are ludicrous and the gameplay looks abysmal. Run around swinging your whatever and hope that you hit somebody. Gotta love the little blood splatter icon things that show when you hit too, those look they are taken straight out of DOOM. How anybody can look at this game and say it is in any way revolutionary is a laugh. I guess some people will buy into anything as long as you tell them that they are 1337 for playing it. Full FFA PVP, no carebears allowed! This is serious stuff...lmao.

Thanks for the video, you saved me 60$, this is definitly not for me. I need more immersive graphics and environment for a mmo to grab my attention.

The caster looked like he was holding a dildo lol. But hey im not a DF fan anymore from all the shortcomings. And whats up with everyone looking the same! Sheshh, I hate that in MMO's, people all look alike with no differences in armor or appearances. And Shadowbane had much better PVP then this game now that I seen this.

I agree with the comments that this video probably did the game a disservice in that it may not be reflective of a better game. I also agree AV should have let this be shown with boosted characters so a better feel of the games pvp was displayed.

As a aside, the graphics are very very bland. However im hopeful this is because of the nature of the video. At any rate release is just a few days away!

Cannot see where player skill is needed there.

Oh well..back to waiting for another game again.

Seriously its not even the fact that the graphics were shit but the gameplay looked like shit. I hope for the sake of the people who waste their money on this game that you can at least run it in windowed mode so you can look at porn while the combat takes place.

1.) So how is that any different in any other game? Are you mad because of instead of pressing 1-10 you have to click constantly? Atleast in this game you have to strike at the appropriate time because you cant go swinging your weapon around and hope you hit them.

2,3.) You run around in circles in WoW/WAR/every other damn MMO out there and you bunny hop in whatever game allows you to jump most of the time (sure there are some games that it is not really useful in, heres an example that it is good in - WoW)

4.) Ok. . .

5.) You gain some sort of reward in other games for killing people.

Seriously, what the hell was the point of your post? You clearly didnt think your post through, because everything that you said is in other games. Come on, atleast try to bash this game with intelligence instead of trying to come up with crap.
