conclusion: no way to know if a game will succeed or fail before it launches, and even then you might need to wait a few months.

Not sad, just observation,. You should try it some time. Be objective. Look outside the box, remove your fanboi sunglasses and see what kind of product it really is. This game and AV is in a sad state and nothing you can say will change that fact.  Expect the 25th to go by with yet another delay.

i agree with the op if you worrying about spending money on videogames so much then maybe you should concentrate on paying your bills instead of buying a game. i put aside a little money every paycheck to buy videogames but its not all i do. really money is not a huge deal to me as long as i can live in a little apartment or whatever im fine with it. i dont worship money and i think that ppl who do are idiots. you need to have fun in life, be cautious yes but also have fun.
