The game is in development since 2 years, isn't it time to add it to the game list? Reynir Hadarson (guy behind Eve) is leading the project... There are a lot of other games on the list that are more doubtful, why not put it up? |

While it would be cool to have a place for the game on this site, I'm gonna have to say they probably won't add it right now. From what I understand, for a game to make it onto the list you need to satisfy a certain number of criteria. Namely an official website for the game, a number of screenshots, etc. This is mostly so the list isn't cluttered with other games from developers who aren't as serious/comitted/reliable. I'm sure WoD will get it's own spot on the list in due time, just be patient. "Because it's easier to nitpick something than to be constructive." -roach5000 |

There's a few in-dev MMOs looking promising that are not listed here, such as Crimecraft. WOD needs to be added though, I agree it's way overdue. For the Templars... |

WoD fan myself, but don't put it on the forums till its ready. Less hype more time producing a solid game. |

I would say that we do not even have an official title of the game, all we know is that they are working on it. You may have noticed that SW: TOR did not have a forum until it was officially announced, title, web site, the whole she-bang even if rumors on the internet gave the game away (not to mention the CEO of EA) months before the official announcement. Hell, if you think like that, let's make a forum for Blizzard's new MMO as well! the amount of info we know on that is about the same. I don't think the forum would just be about hype. A lot of WOD fans would want to discuss their theories on the game but not only that, it may bring in a lot of GOOD roleplayers too. I don't know, I'm just excited. For the Templars... |

I don't know that there's enough info at this point to putting it on the game list, but it sounds great. Even though I'm not a WoD fan I will play anything CCP makes, I love their philosophy. This part says it all; "Hardarson has previously said that he believes MMOs should be continuously evolved by their developers over decades, rather than years. When asked whether Eve Online could still achieve new things he said, “Absolutely, we will just keep building on top of it. “MMOs do not have to age. The nature of a game like Eve is that there is no need for sequels – why shouldn’t it run for fifty years?”"

Crimecraft is on its way. We're looking at getting that one listed shortly. As to World of Darkness. At the moment, it doesn't meet our criteria. CCP isn't talking about the project, and so there really isn't any information available. I will say this though. At FanFest, CCP announced that they had moved a HUGE number of their staff from other project (one would assume including WOD) , to work on EVE, so I honestly don't know what teh current state of that game's development is.

Well the fact is they have said AFTER the eve expasion is released next month (which is where a lot of their man power is currently going) WoDO is going in full production there after. Right now, technically, they are still in pre-production thus not a huge shock they may not be fully staffed right now. -Harlequin |

These games are way too low budget to add. If you start adding these games your list will grow to a few thousand games easily. There's already like 400 games on the list...zzzzzzzzzz. |

I am pretty sure CCP isn't considered a 'run out of the garage' venture. EVE as of a yr ago had over 230,000 active subs (they have more now as every yr their sub rate goes up) and they just broke a record of most players on at one time (somewhere around 55K.. on one virtual server/world/instance). Not too bad. -Harlequin |

i think providing a forum for the game would at least give people to opportunity to discuss it and get updates on its progress, its like when there was (and i think still is) a 16 page thread on link realms in the pub it stops huge threads like that cloggin up the main forum when people could talk specifically about it in an individual forum. ![]() |

That's the wrong way to look at it. Have you seen some of the games on the MMORPG list? If "low budget" games shouldn't be added I think we could wittle the list down by quite a bit don't you think?

As long as it keeps the whole sandbox, Risk v Reward , player run economy and game world like Eve it should be good.
CCPs Ambulation models look very nice and seem to run on low system spec. They are also working on a FPS game so they could be using a over the shoulder Shooter style combat system for WoD. Once thing I would like to find out, is if CCP plans on adding Eves Timed skill training overtime method. Would be interesting if you could train that way, would take alot of the grinding out of the game and leave us time to actually just kill eachother and make cash.
Edit: Instead of skillbooks I could see it being Serums that work overtime. would be pretty bad ass. Ultima ONline (3 Years) |

Ya, theres not alot of info about the game yet.... BUT we should have a World of Darkness forum for the fans to discuss issues and ideas about the upcomming mmorpg. If it was being developed by a no name no cash operation, I could understand but this is being developed by a real game company. I think that does count for something. Also, this is one of the biggest PnP game (series) of all time. With that fact, the forum will be very very buisy due to the hardcore WoD following they have maintained for years. Just my thoughts |
