Honestly Mythic, I expected you to have more than this. I mean look at this quote:

Seriously though, I didn't read the whole patch notes, but I did skim through and the amount of work Mythic seems to be putting in is really tempting me to reactivate my account in the near future, the only thing turning me away is the scenarios. If Mythic would remove scenarios, even if on one or two servers, I would be back in a heartbeat.

When I did play, I enjoyed when I could get a party for open RvR, however, that was near impossible as it seemed everyone was scenario grinding the levels, which also made PQ groups hard to find and again, I found the PQ system to be a very enjoyable change from the norm. While it could get repetitive having to do some PQs multiple times to maximize rewards, I enjoy scripted encounters like those.

I just hope they don't screw up like they did with the last patches.

What's the worst that can happen? They add a second or two of castlag to the current lag? :)

No from what i've read of the patch notes WL's have been nerfed to the point where there next to useless and at the same time they buffed the marauder, and while WE get a nerfed WH are been nerfed even harder it just makes me wonder if Mythic know what the hell there doing.

One of the dangers with making massive patches. It's hard to balance class changes against eachother when you add them all at once.

It's also hard to find bugs you introduce with a patch if you introduce a thousand things that can go wrong.

It probably would have been better to have done it in small bites along the way rather than save them up for a huge patch. Although this way it'll give that sense of "Wow, the game has really changed", albeit that's a double edged sword and when done poorly could alienate people as much as charm them.

It'll be interesting to see what happens :)

 WL Fetch nerf was long overdue. Patch notes looking great overall.

The patch itself looks very promising.  But, for me, the most important is that Zone Control Domination is in it!!!  

Now... if 1.3 will have siege and keep improvement (to, at least, reach DAoC's level of complexity), then I will be very happy.

The best thing they can do for ORVR is to make keeps have multiple breach points and add siege weapons that can be deployed anywhere. Oh and add other routes to keep lords, those damn bottleneck stairs are depressing.

So really just copy/paste DAoC keep sieges into WAR.

whats so great about the patch notes.  ALL OF THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED IN BETA YOU ALL KNOW THAT. SO WHY MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT THEM . YOU BEEN PLAYING A ALPHA RELEASE OF THE GAME AND NOW WITH THESE PATCHES IT WILL BE CLOSE TO BETA. NOT EVEN.

FIX THE GAME DARNIT IT SUCKS AS BAD AS DARK AND LIGHT.

And you people are celebrating something that should have been fixed and added at least 3 months prior to the game even launching as an expansion pack. Some new content and some word on how exactly they plan on taking the game from the gutter and stop it from losing subscribers would have been better than 2 new classes and a fluff dungeon.

Oh look, WoW has a new expansion out. It's free too! They're calling it "500 bug fixes" and it's sure to be a top hit this summer! See how amazingly stupid it sounds to call something like that an expansion pack?

There is new clasess, new Tomb Kings based area, new mounts, new scenario, new live events, new quests, etc.. etc.. and people on here still claim that its nothing more than a bunch of bug fixes.

This place scares me.

The sheer fun that the live events have had on this game has kept my family up way to long past lights out on work nights

The game is just getting funner and funner, or should I say better and better.

 the point i think he is trying to make is that mythic it trying to fix everything wrong with it and to criticize that the game was not perfect at launch is a little ridiculous. the thing is that mythic is trying to fix the game if you want to refute that point then go look through the patch notes and you'll see that they are working their butts off

 Balance patches are my favourite kind of patches. The tears of horrible players have been flowing freely all day across the WHA boards as they whine about any real or perceived nerf to their class (as well as buffs to other classes). It's really good stuff and I never get tired of reading the massive amounts of delusional whine posts.

@caps-boi:  When you yell, people pay attention not to what you are saying, but that you are yelling. Caps Lock FTL.

I'm playing WAR, and have issues with the game, but because of taste.  I just don't like it that much.  However, as far as its release, maintenance and additions, they have done a fine job.  All the basics of gameplay ran going out the door, and Mythic does listen to people when they complain about something, and fix it SOON.  This is a lot better than other companies who wait for the bugs to pick away at their rep before they fix them. 

How about reading what the expansion has: 2 classes and new areas to play.  You fail by comparing these FREE expansions to WotLK, which, guess what? you had to pay for!  Are you paying for these classes and new areas?  Oh, I'm sorry, no you aren't. 

Push hyperbole a bit less, quit caps-trolling, and pay attention more.  The gameplay may not be for everyone, but EA/Mythic are doing a better job than most with maintaining their game.

I think you're right :) Personally I find it pretty amusing though. Whenever there's goods news from Mythic the first thing I look forward to seeing is how people will attempt to spin it into something negative.
