Heh, the best part of all of this, is that eventually the griefers will turn on each other. So it all works out in the end for everyone else. My blog is a continuing story of what MMO's should be like. |

I still remember my first experience in UO before Trammel, "Excuse me could you tell me where the bank is" answer from some knight all in black "FUCK OFF" my answer "ok!!" and I thought to myself hmmm is this going to be the norm and surprisingly it was, few months later Trammel came about and I moved and enjoyed the game without having my game time ruined with griefers.

Damn! You have some low standards for griefing if you considered a guy telling you to "F OFF" a griefer! I doubt trammel change much for you in that case heh. Updated:

Stop trying to put on me what you have and clearly continue to endure, feeling of being abused. Losing touch with reality? lol. To whatever moderator edited my posted, you should as well edit the post I quoted since it also contains the "F OFF" (as you neatly edited my post) part. The advancing decline of parental and personal responsibility has a lot to answer for. In the UK there's currently a big initiative on in schools to combat cyber-bullying and as far as I can see, this is just that. Perhaps you should take a look at yourself for a moment and wonder why you think its okay to prey on people? I'd be really interested to know what you find. |

Perhaps you should spend more time parenting and less than crying on internet forums about how someone has hurt your or someone else feelings in a virtual game? What if your child reads this forum and sees how much of a cry baby you are? What kind of a damn irresponsible and weak parent are you! I'd feel ashamed if I was your child. SHAME ON YOU! There would be no issues such as internet bullying or so called "griefing" if parents would spend more time getting their children involved in real life social environments. That way they'd not get so involved in abstract internet bullshit and have it confused with things that matter, which is real social relationships and not some nobody online avatar they have never met and probably never will. The fault lies in parents, not the internet bullying. Teach and encourage your children to be social and active in real life and they won't feel like some nobody TEXT person on the internet is hurting their feelings.

There are some really sad, fucked up individuals in the world so I think this site is a good idea. With new laws that are being discussed you might just have a large enough membership that the government can find you all and get you off the streets and into a jail or simply ban you from the internet for being fucktards. Anyone that thinks like this needs serious help. Shame you hide behind a screen and don't have the balls to act like this in public and face a good old face pound for being so retarded. |

The fault lies in us all, no finger pointing because thats the easy way out "It's their fault not mine" is not the response.

You're welcome. After all, with every post you make in reply, you're making my point stronger. Now that you're resorting to personal attacks it becomes obvious that you have no logical defence of your position. As for me being weak and irresponsible? Well, I'm not the one that lacks the strength of character to moderate my own conduct. Am I irresponsible for pointing out that what you're doing is socially unacceptible? I'd say not, quite the opposite in fact, I'm stepping up to face what I perceive as a problem within the community...to do otherwise would be a failiure on my part. As such, I'd be quite happy for my kids to see what I've tried to do here, other than the fact that as a responsible parent I wouldn't expose them to this forum and to people like yourself. I look forward to your next barrage.

You missed the other part, fyi. Thanks for another bump! :D Why don't you relax, show us where the bad men touched you and tell us why you have an inadequacy complex that compells you to over inflate your own self importance. Help us to understand your mental issues and perhaps someone might actually care about you enough to want to help. |

You missed the other part, fyi. Thanks for another bump! :D Yes I did, you edited while I was posting. I have no concerns as to the social developments of my kids. We live in a rural area and my kids are typical rural kids, always out playing, building dens and climbing trees. The usual limits of their internet experiences are looking at lolcats and watching movie trailers when the weather is bad. I do agree on your statement on parental responsibility though but that's not the end of it. We are all responsible for our actions and we affect everyone we come into contact with. And yes, education is vital but it's the education that's lacking. People seem to be terrified of teaching kids about what's right and wrong because many parents throw their hands in the air and cry 'you can't tell my children what to do! It's a free country!' I forget where I saw this quote but I believe that 'freedom without limits is just a word'. By not observing self imposed limits your freedom infringes on the freedom of others. Who has the right to do that? I can't tell you not to be griefer but I can ask you to consider the implications and that is what I'm doing.
