It's like we are getting a Star Trek game made by people who have never seen an episode of the show.  I mean... 90% of the shows took place where?  That's right.. INSIDE the ships.   These idiots deserve to have their game fail.

There is no "stripped down vision" in any way, shape, or form. There was never, let's make sure that's clear, N.E.V.E.R, any statement made that they would have ship interiors.  All that was ever said was that it was one of many many things that they were looking into as being a possibility for the game. 

As for your other lame attempt, it's been shown already a number of times on the forums that many Cryptic staff know far more about the IP than most of the fans, since they have been fans themselves for many years.

Just what is Strawman about saying that a person that spouts off that it'll be a spaceship mounts ( It's like saying the ships in PotBS are mounts on the sea.  ) and we'll be killing rats in space obviously knows nothing about the game? This when we know that the ships are going to be much much more than that, we've been given an outline of the episodic nature of missions, and have been told from the day the game was announced that those types of kill and gather missions aren't in Cryptic's vision for STO?

Clearly the person knows absolutely nothing about the game.

You don't have to imagine it. There's going to be ship interiors. Better check your facts. They're going to be included in the episodes where they are relevant to the story being told. As opposed to wasting all the time and resources creating them to be there all the time, and irrelevant to most people.

Well they are going to have stations that one can walk around in, but they're not going to have any player built ones at release. Those will come a bit later.

So why bother following a game before it launches since according to you, they all lie and should never be trusted? That's how I feel. I'd rather spend time exploring the galaxy than my own ship. They already said that interiors will be added in later. The point of the game is to explore strange new worlds, not strange new quarters.

I want to go explore planets not HAI GUYZ LOOK AT MY SHIPS BRIDGE. I rather contorl all the aspects on my ship instead of releying on some guy who might d/c at any moment or who may not be good. Get over yourselfs I rather have a ton of awesome worlds to explore.

I agree that there should be ship interiors in the game. Those who pooh-pooh the idea are essentially speaking for every other player.

But, I know that a lot of players will have lots of fun with interiors. But some jerks don't want it in the game, so they'll ruin other people's fun.
