Which should i play?

these are my interests in a game

• Fun, keeps you wanting more
• a lot  of different mounts, races, and classes
• a lot end game content
• good lore and quests
• customization

eh i was kinda looking for a newer mmo with better graphics and stuff. thanks though

I believe both games have Free Trials...why not try and see for yourself?

I would suggest you try both and play the one you like.

AoC starts out with a bullet and keeps it like a rollercoaster, and suddenly it stops and you have to get out and walk.

LotRO start out like a super dull tired rpg you have played 100 times before and picks up speed.

I think they are both really excellent games with some serious flaws and strengths, only you can decide what one really does it for you.

As far as the things you name specifically... they both do well in some of those and fail in a epic way on others.

So play them both. Commit to nothing and make a choice once you have a better pool of information.

AoC is deceptive,  at first it appears like an awesome game, dazzling graphics, awesome combat..  but then your hit with a very linear feeling.  Every new character you make starts in the same place and you pretty much have to follow the same path through the game that all characters have to.

After a while AoC just doesnt feel like an MMO and everything is instanced with crafting and harvesting very limited indeed.

Out of the two Lotro Wins hands down.

Heh, EQII still has pretty good graphics if thats what it takes to get ya to play an MMO. {Added some images below of my EQII Warden from Dec when I last played...} EQII looks pretty damn good to me and thats still not on max settings, but close! 

Graphics don't mean anything....AoC failed miserably cause they spent all their time making it look pretty and everything else suffered horribly.

LOTRO looks good, and even has DX10 upgraded for it, but it also falls short since there really is no end-game yet and won't be until late into the final expansion where we get to invade Mordor, but even then there is so much more lore and with the Tolkien families permission I'm sure more will be added even after that!
