Really. Getting married totaly ruined my gaming. So much so that I dont even bother trying to log on. If you dont want to ruin your gaming then stick to dating with those you meet online in game. I honeslty think I would rather have not gotten married if I knew it was going to come to this.

I take it your wife does not game? No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga- |

Sorry to hear that dude. I got my wife into gaming also so I guess I have it pretty good. Although she does complain some when I play with our Xbox in bed instead of playing with her. lol

Well, thats just too bad my friend.
I doubt it would ever bother me that much. Hell, I might not game that often as I do now when I get married, but I know I'd never stop. Shes just gotta know that lol. I play video games, thats what I do. I'll do it till I die. Maybe if you communicated with her as well as you did with us you'd enjoy your relationship more.
I definitely agree with hvc801 though. I love to play video games and if my mate can't accept that then they aren't the one for me. I'm now with a game programmer that I met in an MMO. It's going on four years and it's been the best relationship ever. ------ |

Gotta fight back bro, if she gets it in her head she can change you the life and person you knew before her is gone. She will consume your soul and leave you an empty shell. My cousin is one of the lucky few who married someone who doesn't care what they do, as long as family comes first and everything else is second.
**Well, tbh she was also very demanding at first herself as I remember, she mellowed out after a while and a few kids though. |

Out of curiosity, did you not see this coming? I doubt the second the ring slipped over her finger, she turned from video game evangelist into what you have now. Surely there were signs long before you got married that she wasn't thrilled with your gaming. |
