Let's just say, hypothetically (meaning if you respond with "It's vaporwarz" or "It will suck" you're a complete moron), that Darkfall launches and is as awesome as it sounds and as leakers have stated, and that it has all the features that we have now seen in recent leaks, what will all you haters and trolls do?

Will you apologize on the forums?

Will you merely vanish into thin air?

Will you come on here and admit that you were wrong?

Will you still hate on the game?

I know I will be the first to come on here and say, "I was wrong, you guys were right" if it:

A) doesn't launch

or

B) is buggy as hell at launch (meaning has extensive bugs, not the bugs that EVERY MMO that launches inevitably has)

or

C) is missing a lot (not a couple or some minor ones) of features

So what will it be?

I will be one of the first to congratulate the fan on having a game they can enjoy for years to come.

Though so far my calls have been spot on.

Why apologise?  It's a game (or not! ), not a person.  I find it bizarre that so many people act as if it's some sort of cult religion. I see no reason why anyone should apologise for anything other than being nasty to each other and only then if they feel guilty about it.  People say crap to each other on forums - who cares?  It's not a big deal, is it?

And this thread has proven myself and many other's views that most of you on here are all talk with nothing to back you up.

It is for those of us who have been actively paying attention to the progression of a game for years, only to have it's official forums filled with their drabble. Maybe you haven't forumfalled yet lol? It's like a text PvP game.

Actually I hope I am wrong that way I have a decent game to play, and the fans that desire a true sandbox will get the game they want.

Like I said in a post in an earlier thread, Its a win win situation for me. If I am right I get to throw out "I told you so's" and gloat, If I am wrong I get a good game to play (edit: with a bruised ego but no biggie). Its win win

Nah, I wouldn't expect the nay-sayers to apologize if the game turns out to be awesome, I think they'll be too ashamed to do that.  They'll probably just move onto the next game to bash.

If Darkfall is great and you've been hoping for a good game, just do what I plan to do - gloat like there's no tomorrow.  Mind you, I have not been a fanboi of this game at all.  I don't know what to expect.  So if it turns out to be bad, I will have nothing to apologize for, I'll just be disappointed in yet another game that failed miserably.

But as someone who has been waiting for a long time for a game that lives up to my expectations, if Darkfall achieves that, then rest assured, you will hear about it from me.

My critisisms have never been about the game itself.  Hell, I don't know anything about the game, because there isn't much concrete info out there IMO.  No, I've always had a problem with Tasos and the company.  They've BS'd their way into a corner, and I don't see that changing. 

BTW, how many fanboys came on the forums and apologized when the game's launch was pushed back a week from the last release date?  Remember how anyone who said the game wouldn't be ready was labeled a troll or hater (much like you're doing now)?   To be fair, I did see a couple of people who've been supporters of the game come on and say they were getting fed up with the crap -- but just a couple.

Not "when"... "if".

Nobody should apoogize for anything if/when it is or isnt released

I've already stated ( a LLLOOOOONNNNGGGGG time ago ) that if the game actually turns out the way it has been spouted by Tasos, then I will gladly admit I was wrong.

But get over the sanctimonious bullshit. Your "views" haven't been proven, and the only way people can't handle this game is if it becomes the griefer gankfest many believe it will.

And you're trying to have people "man up"? Last I checked, your sitting safe behind a keyboard also. Should we go through some of your posts and find how many comments you've made that you wouldn't if you were face to face? Thought so.

21 years old, OP.... MMO. History according to your post history... WoW, some AoC but not much, Hellgate London, then waiting for Darkfall.

And you are talking about people on MMORPG.com do not have much on thier feet when they talk and you do?

Pleas.e.. MOST people around here has played MMOs for 10 or so years.. A LOT of people around here has experience form MMOs like UO, EQ, EVE, Shadowbane, AO and other PvP systems and years over years of experience of this genre, its developers, the pitfalls and traps they fall into and what can be done about them..

You played WoW for ayear or two, decide you are one hardcore MF and now sit and dream about Darkfall... If you have ANY knowledge of history you would understand why some people are a little hesitant to small companies talking big and not delivering. If you had ANY knowledge about the MMO market or ANY knowldge about games in general other than WoW, you would have heard of Mourning, of Dark and Light, of the games that has promised exacty the same things as this one, has had the same great reviews and "leaks" as this one and exactly the same lack of real actual information.

People are hesitant and rightly so... They have been burned on numerous occations. On ALL those occations, it has started out EXACTLY like Darkfall, right now...

But you do not know that.. because you are young as heck and when the first problem like this happened, you were still in school and probably played on your Playstation. You have NOTHING on your feet.... so please... get of that high horse of yours and go back to WoW. With that as your only MMO PvP history, I am sure that if anyone around here will leave Darkfall first.. you will be a top contender.

No reason to theorize, its not going to be awesome so there's not going to be any reason to apologize for anything.

Average at best is what we have to look forward to.

First of all, many people won't be able to handle the game because of the full loot. Many people have not tried a sandbox MMO, although many of you have, and this alone will be a shock.

The testers have stated the world is harsh and dangerous, and that was when most of the mobs were turned off and the amount of testers was low.

What will happen now that there are many testers and the mobs are proclaimed to be turned on? People will leave in masses, maybe because the game will suck, but probably more so because they can't handle it.

And you could not find a post I would not be more then happy to say I was wrong in if I was indeed proven wrong, and trust me, if I type it here, I'd say it face to face. Having a full time job, going through all the ups and downs of childhood and grade school and life in general, makes you a stronger person, so no, I would not be intimidated to say anything I type on here to yours or anyone else's face.
