ramping up this Feb, you'll get classes, with hints at other systems I bet. The next month will expand on classes, and other mechanics. Just a guess.

Since it's been said officially that January was basically completely dedicated to Art/Style, it only makes sense that this month was mostly screenshots, concept arts and interviews to that effect.

Next month will have a different theme, and one can hope they'll put emphasis on systems/mechanics/classes etc.

As for the screenshots so far. I like what I'm seeing. Not the best I've ever seen, certainly, but I am comfortable with it, as in, I'm certain I'll be able to enjoy playing the game with these style of graphics.

You don't seem to understand that we say stuff about this game BECAUSE we care about it. Just because we say negative things doesn't mean we don't care. We are saying it with the hope that Bioware will get a clue and change some of the crappy stuff before they get too deep.

Because complaining over SWG for 4 years did so much good for vets. TOR is built now, it is what it is, good luck changing the direction now. I was posting on their forums about mechanics I wanted to see from SWG and other MMO games back in early 2006 when they first announced they were making an MMO. Where you you? Off complaining someplace else about something you can’t change? Like the color of the sky?

I just know when to except what is offered or not play it all. If I dislike it, I’ll move on to something else like normal humans without emotional issues do. I’ve yet to play it so I can’t really judge it fully, but I expect it won’t suck as bad as the launch of SWG back in 2003 because I’m an optimist, not a depressing pessimist like yourself. Just like with SWG, if it sucks, I don’t waste my time talking about for hours upon hours like others still do.  Seriously, go back to your Star Tard Online forums are stop being such a trolling tool here. BTW isn't STO pretty much still vaporware?

1.) THere's nothing wrong with being a fan and I have no problem with those as long as they understand that not everyone is. I'm going to hold my judgement on the graphics until I see them in action (ie- video) a bit more. It's definitely a unique look, I will give it that.

Agreed. There's only so much you can make out of a picture (though they do look very promising!).

I think the final product will end up looking fantastic, and many people who've been skeptical about their vision of "stylized realism" will buy into it before launch as they start releasing better looking screenshots throughout the year. I'm still a little underwhelmed, but I'm happy to see the progress from this to this already with the lightsabers, but I still think some of the alien races look a little silly right now.

Hopefully they'll be releasing better screenshots every month and a few new videos soon too. The wait is torture.

The artwork looks fine to me but it's hard to judge the characters until we see them fully animated.    I think the backgrounds are nice-looking.
