Do preorder this game.

It only costs a few dollars and you get to actually play the game when it finally releases after all this time.

It would be stupid not to preorder. It's your right not to. But, I definitely don't recommend it.

besides. if you pre-order you also give them more money so they can set up more servers, run the game for a longer time if it turns out to get into difficulties.

You even get to play the game for like a week or so prior to the release. I think that's pretty neat.

But, hey!.. If you don't preorder it just means that somebody else will. :) I know I will preorder within the first hour of those news. If I see it. I hope I do. .. I just wanna get in and give this game a chance. 

No matter what happends with Darkfall, it's still the most daring and visionary game out there. I think we all deserve to give it a real chance and treat it well. Cause we've been bitching for years and we keep complaining. Now Darkfall is coming around to save us. Finally. .. let's show some gratitude.

Or....based on the way this company goes about business, the free world should boycott them.  In the free world, lack of communication leads to disaster.  How can any person support a company that forbids communication?  Evidently thse people live in a world where "The Man" controls "The People"...and you support this.

1: this is not the real world. This is a limited world... we're not even paying anything close to what customers pay in the real world. .. 2: I am not interested in towers. I am interested in Darkfall. An mmorpg. A RARE mmorpg belonging to a kind that only comes out rarely. .. This is a break from cookie cutter wow clones and generic  anime games. This deserves a chance.

Are they even doing a pre-order or are people just assuming they will be? Perhaps there's some info i've missed but i havent seen any confirmation nor info on pre-orders. Given the companies history over the past 7 years then it wouldn't surprise me that even if there is, it would end up delayed until actual launch when every tom dick and harry can download/login anyway.

I see nothing smart nor intelligent about paying for a pre-order to an unknown company that has a very shaky track record as far as meeting deadlines etc.  Furthermore to pay in order to beta test smacks of dark and light.  The SMART consumer will, especially in these times, not spend their money on an unknown and wait for them to actually launch, get all their billing bugs ironed out and then, maybe, jump in.

However a fool and their money is soon parted.  Dark and Light showed us that, and to think Tesos and the Aventurine group are any different is begging for disappointment.  But go right ahead, pre-order away.  But, please do not come back here in a month or two whining about being double and triple billed,

hold on, hold on.  How is this not the real world?  Or are you saying that Aventurine, Darkfall, Tesos etc are all illusions, figmants of people's imaginations?

Yes, customers do have a say.  For one thing they are protected by the local laws against fraud.  Secondly they speak in the loudest possible way for any business to hear them, with their cash.

The only argument that is flawed here is your own, but then again the fanatic has no logic, nor can they see the truth right before their eyes.

When I read the title I thought this would be a post dissuading people to pay for a pre-order. That's what a smart consumer would do. I just hope that people have enough common sense to see when they are going to get screwed over.

Wasn't it just a few short months ago where the fans were boasting about how Aventurine cared because there would NOT be a PreOrder and there would be an Open Beta and Trial Period before game launch so that everybody could try before they purchased in?

I think so... for years Darkfall fanbois have been spurting that, now, nonsense all over these Forums...

I've seen my fair share of threads on these forums. This one definitely has to go down as one of the silliest!
