Obama is now officially president of the United States! Yay! Personally not to exciting for me, but it is nice to see that alot of common folk in this country have hope again in our president. Lets hope for a brighter future with him in office :)

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

Here is a translation of his inagural speech. "We are increasing foreign aid. We are increasing social programs. We will lay down our arms. We will roll over to any confilct because we are a bunch of pussified nutjobs. Please world, walk all over us." By the way, I don't agree with you that the relevant market here is health care. You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

what, never heard of the term disappointment? Barack has managed to piss his own party the hell off with his recent actions. Prior to the election, his voting record nailed him as a hardcore Democrat that made Bush look like a centrist. I can pretty much guarantee you that if the democratic party leaders knew then what they know now, Mccain or Clinton would have taken oath today. Now, there are only a very few things I know for sure about him. 1.) he's part African 2.) he was raised in an islamic country 3.) he's enough of a politician to fool his own party long enough to nominate and elect him. That's it, most of the other things I thought I knew were proven false, and I cannot think of a single person other than him on the planet who honestly knows a great deal more about what he is going to do. This man could be our best hope, or he could be our worst nightmare. Indefinitely. Rush Limbaugh is taking his frustration out on them with a taser. Strange, I never heard him say anything remotely close to that either. |

For the 1 or 2 people that still watch Fox News, they should be dissecting his oath and whining about it for the next 4 years. Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

Originally posted by Briansho Interesting. I believe it was 52 million who voted against him. How did that suddenly come down to 1 or 2? And this just amazes me that there are people like yourself who will not dissect his speech and discover agendas within his words. "To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders" "The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart — not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good." "Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint." Paragraph 1 - Expansion of foreign aid. Paragraph 2 - Expansion of social programs and welfare. Paragraph 3 - Pacification. Disarmament. Retreat. Surrender. They are quite obvious. If you cannot see the messages in his speech, you are either completely oblivious or simply ignoring it for whatever reason. By the way, I don't agree with you that the relevant market here is health care. You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

Look to the future and hope for the best is all we can do now, it's well be a hell of a lot better than 8 more years of Bush in office, we will all see what happens in the coming months. Hope and faith is what we must all have now that our country can be restored and our image in the world shine again. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1775656162.png |
