The OP is acting like Lucas Arts created the license for TOR out of the blue one day in 2008, when the reality is that KOTOR 1 launched in 2003. This license was issued to Bioware a long time ago. Kudos to Bioware for using it on this new project! TOR has nothing to do with TFU coming to the PC. Poor sales for the game on consoles might be closer to the mark. "The keys are in your hands. I guarantee you that LucasArts won't notice that you didn't subscribe to their game... you're only hurting yourself. Caddaric |

Will probably get it for her(and myself heh) eventually. Had a download for purchase I guess that lets ya play as Vader. Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |

Oh yeah and we all know that star wars games are at their best when 9 year old girls like to play them! Just joking around and the age was just a guess. Was I even close ? |

Nah the youngest will be 14 this year...and I raised both my daughters on Star Wars. Whats a guy to do when he doesnt have a son? heh Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |

lol I thought it was funny to read myself. As much as I'm looking forward to trying TOR, and as much as I've been championing a new SW MMO at the BioWare forums since 2005, LEC hate is real folks. Some people despise them for many reasons no doubt. Whether it be because of like what the OP said, or because they played a part in making SWG suck even more, the fact they’ve been rushing out crap games since 2000, stopped doing their own development or because they refuse to make Monkey Island 5. They really need to work on their public image, I hope this game and the loss of Jim Ward can help to restore the Lucas Arts image we all remember. |

"Easy" only equals "better" for crack addicts and MMORPG developers. |

I imagine eventually LA will set it up for PC as well, will be a way to rake a bit more money from a bad game in. And I don't think they are making this MMO to make anything up to the PC gamers. This game has prolly been in development for longer than it took to make n release SW:TFU. But I am sure that cause you won't be playing....LA will now shut down development of TOR. |

Way to take things so literal. It is possible to use the word within rhetoric without putting a tangible item behind it. I'm fully aware of what the word means and its usage, thanks. Caddaric |

Lucas Arts is OBVIOUSLY conspiring against you with Microsoft and your ISP to allow access to this MMO through your PC. How dare they!! I suggest you trash your PC and cancel your internet. That sure will teach them a lesson!! |

I picked it up at Circuit City last night. I intend to check it out soon. Gonna get the 360 download to play as Vader. Even if it isnt the greatest, it will still be cool to play as Vader. Unless you were around in the 70s, I dont think you can appreciate how some view him as the ultimate bad guy. Shame Lucas had to "redeem" him. It was like de-clawing a Lion....shouldnt of been done. "Oh I killed tons of folks, but look I can die a good guy" ....bleh! Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget. |
