I just logged off at nearly 2 A.M server time and there were at least a dozen people in the mos eisley cantina, that's about the same as it was when I played pre-cu. Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |

Did you forget to mention that in Pre-CU there were also HUNDREDS of people in Coronet along with that dozen or so in Mos Eisley? Yeah, that seemed to slip your memory. I would see more people on Dant in Pre-CU than you will on an entire server now. Oh wait! I forgot! The SWG population has recently skyrocketed! Oh, nevermind, it is just the fact that everyone transferred servers. No new players, no new revenue, no future to a game that has long overstayed it's welcome in the free market. It's about time players demanded quality and SWG isn't up to par. |

Come on Reklaw, I know you better than that. Major starports were busy because: doctor buffing, trader hubs and advertising, smuggler slicing, entertainer groups (there were more than one group of 20 in a single cantina often), and best of all there was pvp. Restuss didn't exist as a pvp city at the time so pvp happened in almost all parts of the galaxy including Dath's sci outpost. And believe it or not, Mos Eisley once wasn't the starting location for new players, you were given a choice of planet and city to start on, mine were Kor Vella and Nashall and Keren, people actually LIVED in those cities before player cities were introduced.
SWTOR: sub ended, no thanks to Georg Zoeller! |

That's ALSO misleading, is this AFTER the server transfer stage? Have you played on servers like Tarquinas, Lowca or Kettemoore before? SWTOR: sub ended, no thanks to Georg Zoeller! |

So lets see, giving postive post = viral marketing...so i guess that means anyone on this site happy with the game they play and letting others know about it are all getting paid off? "The great thing about human language is that it prevents us from sticking to the matter at hand." |

Making a positive post is fine. Intentionally misrepresenting the truth in an attempt to trick people into paying for SWG is not. This is why the vets point people to the free trial way more than the fanbois and viral marketers. |

When did I or anyone else in this thread ever say "screw the free trial, just subscribe!"
It's implicit that people should take the trial before paying for something...It goes without saying....I don't think anybody on this forum has ever said anything that effectively meant "don't do the trial, just buy it" Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |

This was taken at 1:21 on a SUNDAY night, one of the slowest nights of all because of the start of a new work week, there were 7 people in Mos Eisley Cantina. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k15/Joe6305/screenShot0008.jpg as a side note, this is me in a buddy's gun boat, I like it cause it reminds me of the emperor looking out from the bridge on a star destroyer http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k15/Joe6305/screenShot0007.jpg

Hmm, looks like I need to start stopping through Eisley more often based on what I see in the chat box of your second screenshot... |

If they do I hope it's based on how many people we get to download the trial and *not* how many of those actually fork over money to SOE. Even though you try and indicate otherwise, there are extremely few new people coming into the game these days. If SOE cared about new people they would have the game available for purchase in stores or even on Steam where they now sell the rest of their games. Too bad for you that SOE doesn't care. |

I uploaded some screenshots from my return in 2007 for those interested: http://www.mmorpg.com/galleries/Reklaw It's still all there on Tatooine, EU-Farstar. And probably will remain there, in nobody's land or way, room enough around it so I ain't bothering anyone with my little crafting area on Tatooine ------------------------------------------------------------ |

No I don't want to buy them, heh. They're credit spammers/farmer trying to sell stuff they get from buying accounts with credit card details they get from people buying credits/power leveling. As a Warden, I can silence their spam and alert a GM to come take care of their account :) |

Two messages sent within short duration of eachother of one person trying to sell something and it means that the game is overrun with spammers I used to get invites to spam groups on a daily basis from gold farmers in WoW...and I got tells from them daily...I get a tell from a spam bot maybe once every other day or so in SWG, it's annoying, yes, but it's not as though they are the only people playing the game. Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |
